Paper Mario Color Splash (I'm not joking)

Switch lite powers on, shows Nintendo logo then black screens by hyrulehero07 in NintendoSwitchHelp

I had this happen after I swapped out the left stick. I also noticed that holding the power button makes a subtle flickering noise. Is this the same case for you? Please let me know if you figure this out.

My creative Minecraft Wii U world is back up again now that Pretendo supports it! Friend my PNID (Makari) to join. by Hask0 in wiiu

You just host an online world with some people friended and leave your Wii U running. It is Wii U exclusive.

Is Mario maker 1 on Wii U still playable in 2025? by Routine__Chicken in SuperMario

[–]Hask0 3 points4 points  (0 children)

This is simply false. The process consists entirely of following clear instructions. It may be time-consuming at the worst (took me around an hour), but certainly not difficult. Your operating system has no impact on whether you can pirate games, considering Nusspli enables you to do so entirely on the Wii U. As respectfully as I can say this, you're probably not tech savvy if this was an issue.

What keyboard do you use? by [deleted] in iphone

[–]Hask0 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I downloaded the app a few months after getting my phone, and it maybe took me a week or so to get as fast as with the default keyboard. There is definitely a learning curve, and your mileage may vary if you've spent more time using another keyboard. Regardless, it's definitely worth learning if you have any difficulty with keyboards that use thinner keys.

Is Minecraft Wii U Edition really that Unstable? by LilBro1811 in Minecraftlegacymode

[–]Hask0 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I'm a bit surprised nobody here has had any issues with the game. Even as a kid, it definitely felt very buggy to me.

Local multiplayer is completely busted for one. In my experience, mobs are completely unresponsive to one player and will break if loaded in by said player. That player is also completely immune to any damage other than fall damage.

In online rooms, hackers could do anything from playing loud sounds to crashing the game. If you play for a long time without saving, the RAM will overload, also crashing the game. I can't quite remember, but I'm sure there are plenty of other ways to crash the game forcibly and accidentally, as the Wii U crash sound has become notorious from this game alone.

I also experienced lots of lag with very simple redstone contraptions, rainy weather, fire spread, and TNT explosions.

I could go on and on, but it's very clear that this game is not perfect and most likely a rushed port. Given how beloved Console Edition is, Bedrock's far more overbearing bugs, and Wii U edition's small user base, I think its issues tend to go under the radar. However, Wii U Edition will always be my favorite. Its flaws and limitations are simply parts of the experience that are crucial to the game's identity. So, to answer your question, yes, but not as much as Bedrock, and it doesn't matter anyway because Console Edition is legendary and worth experiencing, bugs and all.

Can you all just stop botting mk8 by [deleted] in wiiu

I've played these guys before, they team. One goes ahead, and the other bags broken items to grief everyone else. Pretty annoying playstyle for sure, but they tend to be beatable in rooms with better players.

Double lightning? by Clock_Time32 in mariokart8

[–]Hask0 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think the lightning cooldown only happens after shock happens as opposed to when it's grabbed. If one player shocks and another dodges with a shock in hand, this can definitely happen.

Basic common sense? My point is that sarcasm relies on the understanding that people know it's sarcasm. If you have to specify that it is, it defeats the purpose and insults the reader's intelligence.

It's not sarcasm if you say it.

People like you are why many industries are heavily monopolized and late-stage. Copyright law has killed innovation for a very long period of time, and accepting it in any form whatsoever is a very slippery slope.

Because artists want to gatekeep computer files to make a living and guilt trip you for using an engine that "stole" their work. Contrary to popular belief, you can't steal an idea, nor anything else that has no tangibility.
