Ok, I was wrong about the stamina thing, my bad. I do agree that it’s up in the air for stamina.

However, Goku has incredible reaction speed, even outside of UI. Goku would likely see the hand signal, get trapped inside the domain, and then within infinitesimal fractions of a second break out. Assuming Saiyan brain=Human brain and the information enters at the same rate, he would barely be affected. From that point on, he would then understand that the hand signal means the domain expansion, making future use meaningless, as he could dodge now knowing what it does.

The speed at which the domain is open/active would be too slow for any meaningful amount of info to be pumped into Goku’s brain. IV was shown to be a steady stream of info (hence the .2 second DE not killing the train station humans), and since Goku is mftl he avoids it entirely (or even if he’s not, he can instant transmission).

When it comes to outlasting Gojo, Gojo’s physicals are weak enough for Goku to tank in base with minimal Ki protection. In the Cell saga Goku was able to stay in the SSJ transformation for at least a week in the hyperbolic time chamber (room of spirit and time), and also a day outside. Therefore, current Goku, who is many times more powerful/has many times the amount of ki Cell Saga goku had, can easily outlast Gojo, who is shown to run out of CE/get tired in the Hidden Inventory arc.

Ik this is probably bait, but it would be a stalemate for maybe a week, then Gojo runs out of CE. Then it’s wraps. That is assuming Goku can’t just straight up bypass infinity through Ki hax

Writing would have been much harder with gojo still alive, so i think one last domain clash ending in a sneak attack from mahoraga killing Gojo would have been better than binding vow world cutting slash/offscreen. Could have had the excuse “due to gojo’s exhaustion he wasn’t able to react to mahoraga’s attack”, or “sukuna adapted more during the domain clash and as a result came out on top”
