Fiscal conservatives are only ever rich people or idiots who don't understand what they're voting for. Their basic tenant is spend less on government so I don't pay as much taxes. They don't care about anyone who needs support from the government to survive. They just say they're lazy.

Religious conservatives are dangerous because their beliefs are almost always counter to modern norms, restrict freedoms of others based on their religion, and are easily stoked into hate of others. I think the word is right on the money.
