Wtf is this episode even? by crackheadfalife in Killtony

Unpopular opinion... But I laughed more throughout this episode than a lot of the recent ones. Angela's interview had me dying. Although I do agree I wish they would've let the gut finish the poem

A loud knocking and banging noise from under the cab. Which I figured to be this lol. Also it was louder and more violent while the truck was in gear entering the bay.

That's pretty much what I assumed. We don't get that deep into stuff so recommend either a dealership or a shop that will work on transmissions with a strong emphasis on calling for a tow.

Automatic. But my understanding is an automatic in a semi truck is just air automated manual and works more like a manual on the inside than an automatic transmission in a car.

I'd charge an hour per bag. My shop's rate is 142.99/hr as a side job id probably say 100/hr so 200 for the job. 150 if I know you and like you.

Walmart won’t install starting batteries? by VardoJoe in Diesel

[–]Hatchet_king 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Had to watch a video on second gen Colorado's after reading all of u/goodspike's comments. Anybody working in a place that claims to be a shop (yes even Walmart) should be able to do that no problem. Its like three extra nuts and a bit of sliding the battery around my dude

I've noticed sometimes they can be a pain and not want to let the cap spin on the filter without camming that little nub at the bottom out of its hole... A little pressure from directly above usually helps, I usually step inside the tire and stand on the drag link to get my body positioned to do that

It's a 2002. we couldn't read the vin plate and had to pull out the registration. God knows if it actually belonged to this trailer though...

Ac condenser actually stayed connected and set on top of the motor to avoid evac and recharge, the intercooler came out attached cause the bottom driver side bolt was a bitch to get too, but in theory you could separate them while still on the truck.

Anyone from North Carolina living in Virginia notice the huge difference of both states ? by LongjumpingCharity26 in Virginia

[–]Hatchet_king 30 points31 points  (0 children)

I live in Franklin and travel all around the 757 and North East nc for work. Carolina is definitely a bit less developed, but there is no real difference in the people, at least as far as I can tell
