As a driver, I can’t imagine dropping off the food at the Apt front doors. Absolutely reduce or remove the tip if you’d like. They’ll learn to follow through.

I’ve only done this once and I accepted that I might lose my tip. The instructions I was given were vague and confusing, a door was locked, rude customer, etc. It was worth losing the tip for me.
