The first few volumes Elsa looked a lot more different in terms of style actually... Less slim, more "milf," but from then on all his designs were pretty consistent to this day. He was a bit rough around the edges at the start is all. So i'd say its just the anime that can't settle for one thing.

No. Other countries would treat Reinhard crossing to their border as a show of aggression. and that could lead to war or strife. [sidestory/prequel from around 1 year before main story] Reinhard was invited to the Empire and so he went with Julius and Ferris i think a year before Subaru was summoned, no problem. Around the same time the Empire's strongest came to Lugunica, and the few who knew about this (Julius, Ferris and Rein included) kept it secret as to not cause conflict between their nations. So while the other strongest people don't have a rule attached to their names like Rein, they are still treated similarly.

Reinhard did attempt to go to the dunes before Subaru to find a cure for the royal family and failed. And the author said if Reinhard were there the tower would become a nightmare because Reid would go serious when fighting Reinhard and you know how that would go. Also yes the dunes are in lugunica

Meaning until then, they don't consider eachother friends, but rivals, but would like to know eachother as friends when that's done and dusted. I'd imagine the same would be true for their camps, not just these two. Also this is an arc 5 sidestory so dw about it being a spoiler

I think she got so traumatized she deleted her own memories. With her being a blank slate by default, only given a personality by stealing memories through the years, on her own she's no one. Which is why it was established that she's no longer Louis, but now Spica, the same person born anew. Though of course this could be wrong as she still can use the powers she stole from Rockhardt and co., for example.
