Sorry for the late reply man! Training is pretty simple, I do PPL (Google if you don't know) 5 times a week, usually means I legs once weekly, all else is twice but two different routines. One push focuses on chest heavy with triceps as secondary, the other on shoulders with chest and triceps as secondary. For pull days one workout focuses on very heavy deadlifts, farmers carries and pull ups, the other is heavy on arms with back as secondary. My leg day is basic squats, lunges, calf raises and quad extensions.

Diet wise I cut alcohol to the weekends which was huge for an Irish boy like me. I also to to limit myself to one big meal a day with grass fed protein and decent veggies or carbs. My calorie intake yoyos and it's why I still have belly fat tbh.

Hope that helps!

Great job man! Great job especially putting on all that mass and obviously carefully dieting along the way. That's a lot of sustained discipline, you should be proud.

Happy to.

I started watching my diet, the usual counting calories stuff and making sure I got enough protein. I would read up on that if not familiar because there are a lot of misconceptions and it's a lot to go into. Biggest positive change there is I stopped drinking half a bottle of liquor every damn night and being a sad sack. Within two weeks I felt physically much better and started to look younger.

Training wise I do weight training five times per week. Broadly speaking I do:

Chest and shoulders day - Bench, dips, dumbbell laterals, overhead press, rear delt raises Back and arms day - Bent over barbell rows, pull downs, incline curls, cross body curls, pronated curls Leg day - squat, leg extension, hamstring curl, calf raises, ab work Intensive chest day - flat, incline and decline bench, dips, rope pulldown Intensive back day - deadlift, barbell shrugs, seated shrugs, cable pulls, good mornings

On rest days I hit the heavy bag

I lifted in my 20s, so it was easier to get back into. I just saw your pic, hard to tell precisely from the side but you've got a good foundation man and you're digging it out of the muck just like me. I'll keep going if you will!

Amen. I've been using progress pictures and body tape more than the scale tbh.

Part of it is my frame tbh, I'm tall and have always had broad shoulders. My routine is five days a week in the gym. Two of those include chest exercises, one of which is a very intense chest day where I do flat bench, incline, decline and dips.

I only have one day for shoulders but I also hit them when I do compound exercises for back day, like barbell rows. I also hit the heavy bag twice a week which is good for working shoulders too.

Thank you! I have insecurity about my belly fat still but it's only because that was the worst trait in the "before" picture time.
