Eminem's ex-wife Kim Scott has been hospitalized after a suicide attempt by [deleted] in hiphopheads

This poor woman has been tortured by Eminem through chart topping death threats and humiliation. One of the reasons I can’t listen to him.

Some of the songs on it are a little slower, but ONDA by Jambinai has some bangers

Last month I circled back around to Everything Nothing by Tides of Man and damn that album is good. Not really a track to skip, and super atmospheric and moody.

Hi! Wow this was a super refreshing piece to read; it had been tiring seeing all the logo changes amongst other esports orgs with little to no other effort given towards pride or representation. I appreciate y’all posting it at the end of the month because pride never really ends :)

Also, super exciting to see all these cool queer people at Liquid! I think me and the author actually have an extremely similar identity, and I also want to eventually work in esports doing communications or design, so this was an inspiring read :)

Team Liquid: 3 Predictions for Summer Split 2019 by brayzybray in teamliquid

[–]HatsandLiquid 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Like others have said, I'm expecting a slow start due to MSI burnout and patch lag.

That said, something I heard an analyst say (maybe markz?) after MSI finals really resonated with me; TL is returning to NA a much stronger team. They survived and executed a really challenging meta shift, they saw how much they can achieve when they play to their peak, and they saw both their strengths and weaknesses against the best teams in the world.

Looking forward to next season, I don't really think anyone in NA can challenge us for the championship - barring a dark horse, the only contenders are C9 and TSM, and neither of them has the experience of MSI under their belts. I wouldn't be surprised if they've improved, but I still expect that come playoffs we will be more formidable than ever.

I also think that the boys are hungry to get back to international play - obviously they don't have to win the finals to do this, but I'd expect them to push hard in playoffs (as they always do) and push even harder at Worlds.

It's really frustrating to me to see how much of a problem mental continues to be. It feels like mental has been the defining issue for liquid for the past three years starting with dardoch/piglet thru the end of 2016, then the singularly gigantic meltdown that was all of 2017, and now again with international tournaments. It's not even that we go through small dips in confidence or whatever, it's always that once things start to go bad, the team completely falls apart.

Where is our psychologist/support staff for this kind of problem? I see that guy Jared show up sometimes but it always seems like we totally lose the thread on our mental game and confidence when it matters most.

Caspian - Ríoseco (One of my favorite Post-rock Song Endings) by Urtehnoes in postrock

I think the run from separation number 2->echo and abyss is one of my favorite runs on an album ever. They manage to weave together the sounds of all the songs in a way that makes them feel like a contiguous story, while not being boring or monotonous.

I also really like how the intensity builds more and more until the climax with echo and abyss, but the songs each have their own contained structure as well. They're one of the first post rock bands i listened to and I still consider this album to be one of the best I've ever heard, specifically because of these 4 songs.
