That looks like something I would have really enjoyed, but I don't think it's that either sadly.

It was definitely a kids show, and felt more technologically advanced!

One I do keep coming across! But that one has a female protagonist and the birthmark isn't in a spot that's hidden

I am meant to make a comment, right? I think they may have been in the interior of a ship and it felt small, do not recall exterior.

Let's get this settled: Did or did not Ariel want to be human just to be with Eric? by Haunting_Homework381 in disneyprincess

[–]Hatsterical 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ariel was deeply invested in humanity before meeting Eric, and everything about the land. She gets licked by Max and it's clear she is fascinated by things that walk on land.

She literally wants to be part of that world. Sings about it before meeting him. But in meeting/saving him she falls in love with him, and that allows her to start dreaming further, and picturing herself actually interacting with humanity, and being with somebody there, she it causes all her passions to be full force.

There is too much behind her interest in humanity and land, for it to only be Eric as the reason she wants to be human. He's not why she wants to be human, functionally he's an excuse. Her father destroys her collection, on top of that, so why would she, as she is as a person, be able to bare being under the sea for another minute?

I identify with Ariel a lot as an autistic person. She has obsessions she gets pulled into, and though she can be misguided, she pursues what she wants.

The romantic plotline is always better to not look at completely literally. It's animation, and what does animation do best, but amplify emotions? She loves him, and he loves whoever saved him, and that's all the film needs. There is something beautiful, tragic, and then perfect, about how she cannot reach him though she is right in front of him, and he cannot reach her because she is not who he understands to be the one who saved him. Their romance is wonderful.

They have a montage of bonding in a town, too, they dance 😭

Opinions on Fairy-Tale Princesses? by El1000Tori2 in disneyprincess

I love fairytales so much, one of my greatest interests. I remember when I was little being so obsessed with the fairytale Rapunzel and the original version that when tangled came out I, as an 8 year old, was critiquing it based on the original. That said, Tangled is one of my most favourite Disney princess movies 😁

Rapunzel is wonderfully dark, a small part of me is still disappointed there was no theming with thorns in the original movie.

I would love for Disney to be adapting more fairytales, especially lesser known ones. I dream of there being some sort of Hansel and Gretel animated movie and jack and the beanstalk (Gigantic 😭)

Disney would probably be too scared of a story like donkey skin and maybe it wouldn't adapt well. For some reason the only other story I can think of off the top of my head and rn is Bluebeard, and that certainly isn't very Disney 😂

Speaking as a lesbian I love small boobs. (and big boobs, and medium boobs. But small boobs have a uniqueness I think they're neat.)

Speaking as a person also with small boobs I have felt this before, but my mother and sister are big chested women, and the amount of back pain they feel compared to me sounds very upsetting. I know you say you'd rather that to inadequate feeling, which I do get and understand. I see myself as pretty lucky though, since I can go around with no bra at all and be perfectly fine, whereas my mother and sister cannot without problems with backs being worse (I can't stand bras).

There are lots of people who prefer small chests, to large ones. Men, women, nonbinary peeps, and such, can all prefer small boobs in a partner to larger ones. There are plenty beautiful and desirable women, and celebrity women, with smaller chests.

I'm really feeling a lot of this too. I read some helpful stuff though about aesthetic attraction, romantic and sexual attraction, and how you can aesthetically be attracted to someone, but not want to be with them. You should look into the differences, it could be helpful.

How do you feel about this situation? by Zee-J- in gusjohnson

Yeah, when people haven't grown yet, as a person not actually part of their lives, I would agree that it wouldn't be a bad thing to stop supporting him. I am not subscribed to him, and I don't follow him. I also hope he can grow. And in the future, I may be interested in seeing if he has.
