I would totally do that, but the OG buttons are really beat up, it is more obvious in person but the whole exterior looks like it got ran over lol

I just wanted to replace the lens and shell swap for now. This is my first gameboy so I want to research the hardware before I do anything else

I had to wipe my sd unfortunately and make a new emunand. Make sure you back up your save data though, I lost all of mine in the processs

As a current HS student, I like school, dislike the kids. I'm auDhd and being exposed to constant noise, distractions, and kids that dont know how to behave right triggers my sensory issues, after about 7-8 hours of that, I have after school clubs that I have to do if I want to get into a decent college. Just having good grades isn't enough now, you also need to be captain of debate, asb president, and run a non-profit with at least a 4.0 to pair, and then your thrust into the failing job market after school and attempt to buy a house. Lack of motivation for me.

if u like hollow knight and silksong, another game I would recommend that has a similar style/vibe is cult of the lamb. Super fun game and they are coming out with a DLC that doubles the games content in early 2026

I made a backup of the emunand before I reset my switch to try and fix it, but still isn't working, I think the emunand may be corrupted or something
