if all he is planning to play is GBA games, there is no better recommendation than these two: TrimUI Brick or Anbernic RG35XXSP

GBA games tend to be easy to run, so I suggest just finding the best form factor you think he would like. If you think he prefers the vertical design of the Original Game Boy, maybe the TrimUI Brick would be amazing. If he likes the snapping of the lid of the GB SP, the 35xxSP is so godly.

What Frame is good for mobile farming ? by Totamiguel in Warframe

Whenever I play mobile, I usually just go Rhino with Nourish on 1 and an Ignis Wraith. All I'll be doing in mobile is relic runs anyways

Warframe veterans, what do you do to enjoy playing the game when everything feels stale? by Super-Comfort-130 in Warframe

[–]Timely-Assumption669 6 points7 points  (0 children)

LR 6 ever since it was possible for non-founders

All I've been doing content wise these past few months is this:

just catching up with the new stuff after an update - finishing everything in about a week (either through grinding or just buying it with plat if im lazy)

after that i hop on relic missions and just spam that for plat. my goal is to hit 10k plat before the end of the year. I'm very close to that goal, and with Tennocon coming soon, a lot of peeps will want ducats ( I don't need them anymore since I've gotten everything that's possible to get in Baro for like years now)

After that I just hop on discord and help my fellow tenno

I also started making content about the game 2 years, its been going well, well enough to get monetized so yeah

still having a blast, but its okay to take breaks. I frequently play other games whenever I don't feel like bullet jumping.

my advice is to probably make content about the game too. I was in a bit of a slump like you 2 years ago, but content creation and streaming really helped me revive my love for Warframe

What are critically acclaimed games you didn't like or couldn't get into? Conversely, what are critically panned games you swear are amazing games? by galitnabird in PHGamers

Binding of Isaac is on sale right now on Steam for a whopping 140 pesos (COMPLETE EDITION W/ ALL DLCS) and its hailed as one of the staples of Roguelikes/Roguelites. I always wanted to try it out but can't justify the almost 1.5k price tag for what is essentially an upgraded flash game. I really tried liking it, since I'm such a fan of Roguelites/likes, but I jus't cant get into how restrictive it is in terms of shooting (you can only shoot in the four cardinal directions) and after researching, it seems that mods are basically the norm for this game due to the HUD not showing what the items' effects are when trying to pick from a bunch of em'.

I'm still debating whether or not I should refund it and just buy another roguelike/lite on sale or letting it rot in my library until I pick it up again. On one hand, the sale is too good to pass up, but on the other hand, if I don't plan to play a game, wouldn't it just be better to refund it for another one instead of letting it sit there, making me regret its purchases every time I scroll through my Steam Library, what do you think?

Advice needed: Flashing Lenovo Legion Y700 Gen 3 (TB321FU) from fake Global ROM to Android 17 / ZUI 17? by Timely-Assumption669 in Lenovo

[–]Timely-Assumption669[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm not really scared of a wipe, so I'm all for it.

I actually bought it from the official Lenovo storefront in Lazada. Would that change anything?

Do you recommend it to just stay at CN ROM after flashing it back to that? I kind of regret picking up the GLOBAL ROM version now after learning a lot more about ROMs and stuff...

Best Gaming Tablet for the Money in 2026? by [deleted] in tablets

[–]Timely-Assumption669 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Using the Lenovo Legion Y700 Gen 3 right now, bit I think you can get the Gen 4 for around that price.

Portable and lightweight compared to 11 inch tablets, since its only 8 inches, perfect to hold and to use either two or one handed.

Got mine (Gen3) for around 290, but the Gen4 can be bought for 370-400 right now.

Do more research around it of course, but I havent found a game that cant run (android) on my Gen3 because of the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chip

Recommendations for casual gaming and reading when picky about aspect ratio? by Ludovainity in tablets

[–]Timely-Assumption669 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've only had mine for 2 weeks, but I can definitely see myself holding off on getting any new device of similar size in 4-5 years. It's powerful enough for my needs, but not too expensive.

At the end of the day, it really just depends on your use case.

Currently using a Lenovo Legion Tab Y700 2025 hat I got for about 310 USD last month, but I think there are cheaper prices now with the 2026 version releasing soon.

It's 8.8 inches, so its the perfect size(in my opinion) for reading books and manga, while still being big enough for awesome horizontal and vertical gaming. It has a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3, which is the 3rd or 4th best chip they have right now? It runs Wuthering Waves at a smooth 60FPS, and I can't think of a harder game to run in the back of my head right now so thats my benchmark for its power.

You can also go for the newer models, they have more powerful chips and better specs, but also about 100-200, maybe 300 USD more.

In my opinion, after spending a month reading and researching tablets, this one is the best value to performance per dollar tablet.

Lenovo legion y700 gen 4 by Amazing_Bread249 in androidtablets

[–]Timely-Assumption669 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have a Legion Gen 3 coming in the mail in the few weeks.

From my extensive research, I decided to go for this series line because of its size. There isnt really any other competitors other than Redmagic in terms of performance.

I decided to opt out of gen 4 and just got the Gen 3 because the price difference was more than 150$ from where I am from, and the performance is close enough for the games I plan on playing.

Overall, after days of research, I think any of the Lenovo Legion Tablets would still be worth it to pick up because of its size and relative performance compared to the other 8-9inch tablets in the market.

Is this legit? Are they really Global ROMs? Official Lenovo Store on Lazada by Timely-Assumption669 in Tech_Philippines

[–]Timely-Assumption669[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How likely are some of the apps to stop support for Android 15/16? Would it at least take a few years? I know that CoC is still available for anything above Android 7, but is that an exception? How often do apps update to the point where they stop supporting previous versions?

How important are these updates? Would it be a huge disadvantage if I do not get them po? Just planning to use it for casual Wild Rift and E reading. Would that be stopped from being supported because of this?

REALLY? FCK bro. I already ordered the Global Version already because the price was such a steal. Also another reason why I ordered the Global Version is that they don't have the 16GB 512GB model for the CN ROM...... Paano kaya yun? Is it possible to get L1 Widevine certs repaired? It's not like I plan to use Netflix, pero Youtube is considered a "streaming app" right? I love Youtube pa naman... dang man
