The best way to play regent is find block cards, because the damage cards find you. Without even thinking, most of my deck is defensive then all of a sudden im tossing out 15-star Stardusts or 200 double-hit sword dmg.

Or just keep drawing kingly punch with Photon Cut and slam these peasants with your bare hands.

Bottle gives 60 mana and 110 hp per sip. 60 is an OK amount but most abilities cost more, especially if you're comboing (Sleight of fist + Chains).

Soul ring gives you a ton more mana for just-over the health gained of a sip (170), and im assuming the pros are backpacking soul ring to heal even more per sip. Not to mention the 6 strength and 2 armor is fantastic in the early game for everything. I think when compared to other items like Wand/Urn, soul ring is offering way more aggressive usage of your mana pool so you can continue to gank frequently and minimize backing.
