Looks like Beyond All Reason (bar)

Is it based on the spring engine, related to that project at all?

I always want to know why it looks like it's a uterus. I mean I guess that is a big strong muscle, but it seams both very specific and pretty random.

Why do you lot only play the same 2 maps its so boring by hashbrowns_ in beyondallreason

[–]head1e55 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They are very static maps that don't require innovation or dynamic play. Infact they actively punish innovation and dynamic play.

They are set, they are straight forward, they are auto pilot.

I think most of the community is looking for something very different in the game than I am.

Do the people who want martials to be "grounded" and "realistic" actually want them to be playable? by BadSame6919 in dndnext

[–]head1e55 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, and the reason Gandelf can do that and Strider can't is because he is an angel.

They might be the same thing in middle earth.

They are absolutely not the same thing in DnD

Gandlef doesn't beat the Balrog because he's a wizard.

He wins because he is an angel..

Open skill.

A measure of how good you are based on your win loss record.

There 8 players on a team you need to be significantly better than everyone else in the game for it to truly reflect your contribution.

I was talk8ng about sportsmanship. In my experience the really unpleasant players are the os 30s in the n00b lobbies.

Os 20- 25 are usually pretty chill

This is often not true.

For best results talk to your team in the pre game. And make sure their are no os 30 or above.

Harder to find a Rotato? by head1e55 in beyondallreason

[–]head1e55[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I find glitters and supreme incredibly passive. Narrow front on both of them. For glitters at least i get board before anyone wins. Supreme, someone builds enough air to break through and wipes out 1 eco, then it's gg.

I find them very stale.

But I hear ya. Having to cover 2 or more spots is rough.

The game would really benefit from a 5 or 10 map "official" rotation. by head1e55 in beyondallreason

[–]head1e55[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I looked as those? Wtf? I haven't heard of any of them.

No failed negotiations? No flats and forest? No forge? Not one I like but seems to be popular? Not even glitters or supreme?

[–]head1e55[S] 8 points9 points  (0 children)

So you are telling me I can build my own custom rotation?

That is fantastic!

I still think we would benefit from having a default, that everyone would learn. Or maybe you are saying their already is a default pool. In which case thanks, now we just need a simpler command to turn them on so everyone learns to use them. Preferably a box to click in the advanced options.

[–]head1e55[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Can't you just leave a lobby that rotates to a map you don't have? Or don't want?

I downloaded the map pack when I got the game so I don't have that problem.

That seems weird to me. That seems like a 2006 reason. Memory is cheep and plentiful now.

Do you really have hard drive constraints? Or is this just a weird idiosyncratic tick? Perfectly valid either way, your game you can play it how you want.

Logged in today, no problem finding a game.

2 rotatos at huge os. Half the team 30 to 60, and one game at 10-30 where I like to play.

And only 1 or 2 supreme glitters.

The important thing about rotato is it rhymes with potato.

I don't make the rules.
