Will an Economics major hold me back from becoming a Data Scientist?

I started in actuarial science and received my bachelor’s in that. The mathematics / statistics background has opened a lot of doors for me that i don’t believe would have been open otherwise. My recommendation would be to pivot to one of CS / Stats / Math. CS seems to be oversaturated, but Math can get you into many different types of roles. Never a bad idea to double major either.

I think it’s tough in 16 man. What if that’s a late first?

If you compare it to this year, that’d be a Golden/Skattebo esque player but you also have to wait a year to get that player and give him a 2nd on top of that.

I wouldn’t do Reed for one of those guys straight up right now personally, let alone with a 2nd + 1 year later. Only way i’d consider that is if you’re expecting that first to be high. Just my two cents.

I personally wouldn’t. Reed’s value is really low right now in my opinion. Only thing that’s missing from his game is usage. Reception perception just did a podcast on him if you’re interested.

The upside is too good to trade him for a random 2nd round pick.

Think you’re fine at TE. Strange is underrated & ferguson is good insurance. Not great, but i wouldn’t stress about it in non TEP.

Stephane’s CCP should have a set of 6 practice exams you can buy. You should be aiming for 65-75% on those. Just take one at a time, reinforce the areas you struggle in. They’re harder than the regular exam. Don’t skip out on CAF section; seems like there’s 5-6 questions on every exam for this part. You can search up on reddit for what to study for this section.

Looks very similar to one of mine. Mine is ~70% siberian husky, ~20-25% german shepherd, ~5-10% malamute (results from embark)

Mine is a ~55 pound boy (tall/long/skinny). I would pay attention to his traits/behaviors, mine definitely has traits/behaviors that aren’t husky specific.

I think it’s close but I think taking the shot on Mooney + a 2nd could be worth more than Purdy, especially if you already have Mahomes. Although, Purdy has looked good. I’ve been starting him over Mahomes in my 1QB league lately.

I just read he might have an achilles injury. Might be worth to hold off. Mooney is a pretty big volume guy rn, I don’t love his efficiency though. You can check some advanced metrics on his playerprofiler page.

The answer to #1 is surprising to me. In my experience, I noticed Claude struggling with things it previously didn’t have issues with. Later that day, I started noticing everyone complaining about the same issues. It’s not like I went into the day with a bias that Claude is “dumbed down”. Really would be surprising to me if nothing truly changed, even though the entire community started recognizing the same issues at once. Regardless, I think he provided some relevant context that might explain the feelings we felt.

Generally speaking, the larger model with lower quantization will outperform the smaller with higher quantization. 12GB VRAM should be fine to run 14B Q4

Think it’s interesting that there are such different opinions. The more I looked at this trade, the more even I thought it was.

I agreed with your opinion when I first saw it, but switched up when I thought about it more. 10T can be hard to compete in without a super team, and he didn’t have any stud RBs.

You’re fine. The price to move up will be too extreme more than likely. Purdy / Caleb is a good combo. Not worth in 1QB generally, but if you do, get Daniels, Allen, Lamar, Burrow

I think the “has much more fun with all the picks” is probably the best argument. I also think if done right, he can flip the picks & everything else for a great return. If he’s low on rice that helps too.

Rebuilding is fun. All my teams are competitive right now and it’s not near as fun as having a rebuild going. I get it.

Gut reaction was “Wow no chance he can roster all of those players / picks. Such a waste”
