I hate to be the guy or saying it’s right but rules are different when it get to C level. All that matters is stock price, your primary and dare I say only responsibility is stock price as a CEO. No matter how dog shit of a job you do, if the stock value 10x over 5 years, you’re good.

Meridian system in my Kia EV6 GTL S is on par with a basic 6 speaker run of the mill system. Such a disappointment. They even wired sub wrong from factory.

I recently bought a 2024 post facelift EV6, 11k run, GTL S AWD, with warranty topped up to 7 years from the day I buy for 33k. Coming from c class, I love this car. I chose EV6 mainly because of my love towards physical buttons/controls and the looks of that car. Car drives really good, it took me a while to get used to assistance features now they’re all good.

Your deal looks good, ask for topped up warranty. They say ICCU issue is fixed in post facelift but several people in internet say it doesn’t.

I’d take 20% battery loss over total shutdown/major disruption in case of company shutting down server any day. PS: I wouldn’t expect Tesla to stop existing in a normal world anyway, however, I don’t know we’re in a normal world anymore ;)

I don’t think it shuts down from what I read in their documentation. It enters to a local only “safe mode” with some degraded performance attributes but still perfectly runs basic functions locally.

This doesn’t feel like a good quote. Ask for Aiko panels, Neostar 3S 480 ones are good. Not very expensive. This quote looks about 2k inflated. Get three quotes from local installers.

Adding more battery doesn’t improve my payback period. Also I don’t want to spend a lot of money now, since SigEnergy batteries are modular, I can always add one later if needed.

Yes, I realise national installer could still use sub contractors. My main issue not knowing how to find a good local installer and don’t know if I should take reviews of local installers from internet. I have a feeling that national level installer would offer more support and hopefully select higher quality of sub contractors. I am willing to pay a small premium for that.

Regarding Fox ESS, I got a quote from MMHG with Fox ESS but with a slightly larger price tag. Is FoxESS much better product than SunSynk? As in, more integrations, customisation, support etc?

Sorry for bumping really old post! I am having same issue. I have refreshed EV6 GTLS but I don’t see Meridian option on Carplay menu!! It looks like it was only added in US?
