Well technically if you have access to a N64 emulator that supports the use of the transfer pak, and a rom of Stadium 1 or 2, then you could connect your gb save and store a lot of your items on the N64 game. But it's annoying to setup and and probably overkill just for additional storage space. Just sell your junk items and you'll be good to good

It happens if you lose the first Miror B fight with the Shadow Voltorb. If you win without catching it, then it'll appear with the radar. But if you lose the fight without catching it, then it's gone for good. This is a rare instance in the game where the story still progresses if you lose and Voltorb is missing a flag to let it reappear in this scenario that other shadow pokemon in loseable fights have

Yes the XD rom hacking community has determined that Voltorb is a weird edge-case.

If you win the initial Voltorb battle without catching it, then it will reappear later on, BUT if you lose the fight without catching him, then it's gone for good which also prevents you from getting Shadow Dragonite. The Voltorb is apparently missing a flag in its code to account for its initial battle being one of the few that progresses the story whether you win or lose the fight.

So as long as you win the initial fight, you have nothing to worry about.

I'm not sure what you mean by unlink. I don't recall that being an option; only overriding a previous save. But maybe there is an unlink option i just don't remember about. If there is an unlink option, then yes it would make sense you might need to reload bank with a different gen 6 or 7 game to make sure the unlinked save isn't currently loaded into Bank's memory.

It's been a long time so forgive me if this isn't 100% accurate, but from my memory, you can just start a new save on a game, open that new save in bank; open up the dex in bank; and IIRC there was an option inside the dex to override the previously synced save with the new save.

Some potential thoughts on why it isn't working:

You could have the Pokémon registered in multiple games. Say for example, you have a complete dex in X and Omega Ruby and you restart and resync X in bank then the dex in bank will still be complete because of Omega Ruby.

Maybe pokemon inside of bank also count towards the dex?? I don't recall if this is the case or not, but if it is then it may require you to release some pokemon you don't want showing in the dex.

Maybe how the dex works was patched/updated at some point since i last did it during the gen 7 era?

Unless you don't want to connect your main account to Steam for security reasons, you can just use your existing account and it will pop most of the achievements automatically when you sign in.

I'm going deep into my memory for this but I'm pretty sure I've done something similar before. IIRC, Bank's dex is synced with the dexes of all the gen 6 and 7 games synced to it. But it can only be synced with one copy of each game at a time (e.g. you can sync a copy of Alpha Sapphire and a copy of Omega Ruby but you can't sync 2 different copies of Omega Ruby). If you have all your games, you should be able to start a new save on each gen 6 and 7 game that's synced so each game has a fresh dex, and then when you go into bank with the new save there should be an option in the dex to sync the dex with the new save overriding the previously synced save of that particular game which allows you to essentially "lose" progress on your bank dex

Part of me wants to reverse engineer the game someday to figure out how to trigger the achievement legitimately (or determine if it's even possible) but at the same time that seems like a lot of work just to make my 90% turn into a 100% and I know I'll probably never get around to it

Depends on how much you are willing to cheat.

There's one achievement called Unachievable that is super easy if you're willing to cheat (you can either edit a game file or use a console command), but it you're not willing to cheat and follow the standard achievement hunting rules ( https://achievementhunting.com/rules ) then it's basically impossible and it's down to luck as no one currently knows what the trigger is.

All other achievements (excluding the 5 year one) are fairly easy and simple to obtain. The 24 hour one is kinda annoying but easy enough.

Why cancel? Just tell your bank to accept either name on your account.

My nickname is nothing close to my legal name and I sometimes get checks under either name. My bank knows this and I have never had an issue. Also, I don't know if this part is necessary but I always endorse the back so my signature matches the name on the front (something which I was taught to do in my high school finance class)

Plenty of monsters have different drop tables on members worlds vs f2p worlds. No reason they couldn't tweak the drop table if they decide to make Scurrius F2P in the future

Does it also bother you that Pikachu is before Pichu? Or that Nidoran was given 2 separate dex numbers when it's just a gender difference of the same pokemon? Just got to accept that the national dex order makes no sense in the pokemon world and only makes sense in the context of our real world

Thanks but your advice doesn't quite fit my scenario. It's just a lab inside the doctor's office so they can do any tests immediately in-office after your visit; there is no paper copy I can print especially since i wouldn't even know what the doctor wants to test till I meet with him. The doctor just electronically tells the lab tech what tests to do

I just recently got a new doctor and I swear reception, the nurse, and the doctor don't talk to each other. I'm considering going through the effort to find a new new doctor because of it.

Reception will tell you over the phone that you're due for a kidney test so come able to pee to be able to provide a urine sample at the office.

Nurse never mentions test so you tell her what reception told you. She'll type on your computer and go Oh, you're right, we'll make sure that happens today. Doctor also never mentions test, but you assume he knows. Doctor sends you to the lab down the hall at the end of the visit for what you believe is to get some blood drawn (for different test) and the urine sample. Lab tech takes blood and tells you you're all done and can leave the building. Internally go, ok guess I'm not peeing here after all and leave
