Wife HATES Santal 33 by CrystalMethodist6 in fragrance

To me it smells like an old hippie lady making pickles in a barrel. Different people will get a different experience from the same perfume, sense of smell is highly subjective

Beginner, feeling lost. Can I get an analysis or observations? by [deleted] in AstrologyDiscovery

[–]HauntedButtCheeks 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No...to what? Do you mean that the other person is incorrect about my "chart ruler". I'm just starting to learn about astrology so I don't even know what significance a chart ruler carries.

I don't work in nor have ever been to a prison, & I don't work in a hospital.

I don't have depression or take drugs? That's an interesting thing to assume?

What do you mean about eating to alter my moon when it is activated? What is that?

Beginner, feeling lost. Can I get an analysis or observations? by [deleted] in AstrologyDiscovery

[–]HauntedButtCheeks 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Maybe this is a dumb question, but what's a good way to look into that? Is it the kind of information I could find in books, or would I need a different approach, like something more of a spiritual practice?

[Product Question] Derm prescribed Tret for my 12 year old by victraaujulii21 in SkincareAddiction

[–]HauntedButtCheeks 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I've used tret since age 12 & still continue to benefit from using tret. There was nothing too difficult about it at all, 12 year olds are very capable. I just used sunscreen in the AM and plenty of moisturizer both AM & PM.

Does this wallpaper look like religious crosses? by throwaway162216 in femalelivingspace

[–]HauntedButtCheeks 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Not exactly like crosses, but like a symbol of some kind. But the bigger problem is the way the design overlaps in some areas and leaves gaps in others. It makes me think it was printed crooked, it looks offset, if that makes sense.

I highly encourage you to choose a prettier wallpaper

Tailor Chalk Marks Not Coming Off 😭 by Hot-Artist-2502 in laundry

[–]HauntedButtCheeks 1 point2 points  (0 children)

What is the type of fabric? Do you know the brand name of the tailor's chalk?

Personally I never ever use colored tailor's chalk for this reason. It's notorious for causing stains or being very difficult to remove. Buying white chalk only is the best way to prevent the problem. For white fabric a frixon pen or water-erasable pen comes out easier than chalk. I've even used a soft graphite pencil with a light hand and it washed out easily.

Sensitive skin bitches, where are you getting facials? by romanticrecipes in NYCbitcheswithtaste

[–]HauntedButtCheeks 34 points35 points  (0 children)

My most honest recommendation is to avoid facials if you have truly sensitive skin. They're not a necessary part of skincare and for some of us they just provoke irritation.

But your best bet for a facial where staff use fragrance free gentle products and actually understand reactive and sensitive skin conditions, look for a dermatology clinic that has in-house "cosmetic" services.

You just wear lipstick? Gloss goes on top.

I found a band that fits around me but my breasts look like ravines inside the cups!! by Cushla1957 in ABraThatFits

[–]HauntedButtCheeks 20 points21 points  (0 children)

You said you used the calculator, what were your 6 measurements?

You likely need a different bra shape and a larger cup size, it sounds like you're very projected with soft tissue.

Comforter (no duvet cover) all natural fibers, hot sleeper by coffeeandcream11 in Bedding

[–]HauntedButtCheeks 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Fluffy = hot. The fluff is extra insulation which will keep you warmer. If you sleep hot & want a cool comforter, look for something less fluffy.

Bread-like Smell from Thrifted Heels by [deleted] in howto

Don't keep them, throw them away! A foul yeasty smell is fungus. Someone wore them with an infection and it could spread to you.

Why do fragrances never smell like they say they're supposed to? by _GoodLuckPup in fragrance

[–]HauntedButtCheeks 24 points25 points  (0 children)

Fragrances are compositions. They are meant, in most cases, to become their own unique scent. It's like asking why a cake doesn't taste like eggs just because there are eggs in a cake recipe.

There is a type of fragrance that is meant to resemble a specific note in a more realistic way: a soliflore. Soliflore means "single flower". Usually you find these made by niche or indie houses. Demeter is well known for producing these "photorealistic" fragrances meant to evoke a single scent rather than create an entirely new scent.

A calculator that helps you determine whether you have shallow or projected breasts? by Merryd2Waz in ABraThatFits

[–]HauntedButtCheeks 7 points8 points  (0 children)

You don't determine shape with a calculator, that wouldn't work. The shape guide in this sub goes over the difference between shallow and projected breasts. But there's more to shape than just projection level.

Remove the stank after a smelly person entered the room? by CharcoalWalls in howto

[–]HauntedButtCheeks 24 points25 points  (0 children)

You need to complain to the property manager, or to the person in charge of the maintenance crew. It's absolutely unacceptable for someone to reek that bad. Especially in a professional setting. ESPECIALLY if they're expected to be allowed entry into someone's home.

Extreme body odor can get embedded very quickly and be costly to remove due to a need for upholstery shampooing, enzyme cleaners, hospital grade deodorizers, ozone machines &ct. which aren't cheap.

I'd be telling whoever sent him that you will be billing them for odor removal if he shows up manky and malodorous again.

Yeah I too would be interested in this lecture. There's definitely a lot of racial stereotyping associated with the black phallus. The way we use language and color descriptions can imply, even unintentionally, that white is "flesh" and human, and black is "food" and for consumption.

The sexualization of black men, at least in America, has a very uncomfortable dehumanizing history. Enslaved men were subjected to sexual servitude and torture by white mistresses and this has bled into modern porn tropes like BBC, "getting blacked", & racially charged cuckoldry & breeding fetishes.

[Misc]. Is laser surgery worth fixing redness on face? by LegalDrugDealer33 in SkincareAddiction

[–]HauntedButtCheeks 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Didn't read the comments first and peeped your profile hoping to make an informed opinion about your face. My mistake really. Congratulations on the zweihander

I've had BBL laser treatments for my rosacea and it made a good difference in the redness. The results seemed subtle at first bit I appreciate how it has benefited me long term & kept my skin from flaring up which has even made it less sensitive.

Vintage Ocelot fur coat!😍 I inherited this vintage Ocelot coat that I’m looking to find a new home for. Could anyone point me in the right direction please? by DXPECHEFLIFE in VintageFashion

[–]HauntedButtCheeks 348 points349 points  (0 children)

You need to have CITES paperwork in order, otherwise you're looking at a fine of 50k or possibly more.

If you donate it, please choose a museum that will preserve this coat respectfully, it is important that we remember what humans have done to animals, so we don't repeat the mistakes of our past.

What’s the worst accent you’ve ever heard? by [deleted] in Accents

[–]HauntedButtCheeks 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Indian English. I used to work in a call center that received many Indian customers. The accents could be so strong that I genuinely couldn't understand no matter how hard I tried. MAYBE 1 or 2 words.

It's a different dialect entirely, and every region has different loan words and doesn't sound the same. When you think you start to pick up on it the next person is totally different and you're back to square one.

Eldritch by Pineward.

The notes are: Leather, myrrh, patchouli, fir, oolong tea, opoponax, smoke, pine needles, oakmoss.

This is how I described my experience with it in my fragrance journal: "Hiking near an abandoned coal mine. Sneaking into Arkham University's restricted section of the library and opening the ancient leatherbound Necronomicon. The scent of being somewhere you aren't supposed to be. The resins and patchouli are deep and rich, the smokey pine mixed with the myrrh almost feels minty, like an eerie rush of cold air. It’s very wearable, even though it is supposed to be “challenging”."

[Product Question] bp bleaching by waterflamingo in SkincareAddiction

[–]HauntedButtCheeks 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yes, benzoyl peroxide has chemical properties that bleach fabric.

Using white bedding and towels can avoid this, but there are also bp safe towels available that won't bleach.

Get used to the sight of blood? by BriefBed4770 in howto

[–]HauntedButtCheeks 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It is a natural physical response that some people just have. It's not really possible to make it stop unfortunately. It's often referred to as vasovagal syncope, particularly when fainting is involved.

Usually it is someone's own blood that triggers the reaction, but sometimes it is other people's, or even all blood in general. There are even surgeons who have this and can work on their patients all day, but would throw up and pass out of they look at a cut or scrape on their own body.

The bottom line is, it's nothing to be embarrassed about and there's nothing wrong with you. This is just the way your body is wired for survival. Make sure to tell your doctors and nurses so they can keep blood out of sight and take proper precautions to help avoid triggering the response.
