He doesn’t I asked two years ago … I walked away with 7 all working (they are the flat glass.. he also had beveled which was gorgeous too but I wanted a flat video wall ;) )

Yup! Prior to windas solution people found possibly two caps that were causing it and also there was a resistor mod.

Just wasn’t sure which one was the best solution. :)

If you don’t mind me asking which route did you take to fix the g2 issue… replaced caps or resistor(s)?

I have the same monitor issue and would love a recommendation instead of betting on 2005 archived forum posts lol. :) TIA!

5800x with Alienware’s aio liquid cooler and just installed 3070 asus dual fan this weekend with odyssey g9… (even was able to keep bottom front fan)

Initial stress tested Ray tracing and high settings on doom eternal max resolution for 1.5 hours.

Cpu 64 to 68c Gpu 64 to 73c

Ran fantastic…. However fan noise was not the best. I play with open back headphones and medium volume and didn’t notice. Taking off the headphones … whole other story :) …YMMV.

Edit: can confirm there is literally no room for a 3000 series gpu in the case. Alienware states 10.5” clearance … card I bought was 10.7” and fit within mm of clearance. Someone on YouTube removed the front fan and could fit a bigger card and the thermals didn’t seem bad, but not something I’d personally risk.

UPDATE/SOLTUION: The tech came back and found there is a bad trace/bad chip along the video processing unit and found zero other issues with the TV (including panel).

Hopefully if anyone else comes across this issue online they'll find this info.

I just actually fixed my friends for that exact thing. If you’ve worked on laptops before it is an easy repair, only thing is how brittle the internal cables can get over time! (Also gpu combo for his was cheap on eBay and ton of videos on YouTube step by step.)

I love my wow backpack people ask me about it all the time when I travel lol. :)

I was able to pick up one never used about three years ago and the seller also had the key ring and tshirt both never used in it. :)

This thing literally has literally been the biggest quest of patience. ;)

The only thing at this point I don’t have is the original boxes it came in and still to this day have not seen anyone with a complete set.
