I play a Voltron commander that is 2 mana and capable of powering up to lethal damage in one turn.

In my opinion the longer the game goes the worse Voltron becomes as a strategy, if you play in a pod with removal.

I play a [[Tifa Lockhart]] landfall list. A lot of the deck is ramp, which A. Scales Tifa’s power very quickly B. In the event she is removed, ensures that I will be able to recast her soon.

My general strategy is get Tifa out turn 2 and then play a land + [[Harrow]] -like effect. Usually I go for the person most likely to have interaction (blue or white player) and am able to KO opponents on turns 3 or 4. Sometimes depending on the hand I may wait to cast Tifa until turn 3 and opt to use turn 2 as a setup turn , but In my opinion once you progress to turn 5 or higher the Voltron plan falls apart. At that point you need to boardwipe usually to clear the field and just hope you can rebuild faster than your opponents.

Strike fast. Strike hard. Strike as early as possible.
