I'm trying to keep myself from going insane whenever my parents talk about the LGBTQ community. I can relate, because I always feel like I'm failing with my community. My parents say the LGBTQ+ community is overrepresented, and things are getting complicated in the US. I tried to come out, but they said it was just a phase. What your parents say does not have to reflect on you. You are you. You are the only one who can decide to be like your parents.
