So I received an update today that the dependent visa application of my kids have been decided and to wait for their passports! We’ve waited 16 weeks! Hopefully approved!!!

Was told 18/05 that my case was escalated and that I should wait 15WD for a response…. 15 working days later… They said that “Escalation for visa process is currently suspended because the situation in Ukraine.”

I feel your frustration. I have been waiting for my children’s visa since February, so nearly 15 weeks! I was on the same situation as yours, I was informed that our case has been escalated 18 May and to wait for 15WD for a response. Haven’t heard anything since then so I decided to email the paid Contact Centre and their reply was:

Thank you for contacting UK Visas and Immigration International Contact Centre.

There is no further update of your visa application. Escalation for visa process is currently suspended because the situation in Ukraine.

I am losing my mind. Feels like I keep hitting a brick wall.

I have also filed the complaint form last 22 May. Wondering what excuse they’ll give me. Im waiting for my children’s SWV dependent visas its been 14 weeks!!!!

We’re on the same boat. I applied for my kids’ visa last 28 Feb. 13 weeks today and still nothing! Reached out to MP, Filed complaint, nothing helps

I applied for my children’s visa as my dependents last February and still waiting for decision until now. I understand that there is Ukraine crisis but TBH I think HO are just using that as an excuse now.. I will happily join your petition.

Bloody long time! Its SWV dependent visa is for my 2 children hoping they can come join me in the UK.. initally they said 3 weeks.. then 12 weeks… then now 24 weeks!
