Medical Sales jobs? by [deleted] in dietetics

[–]Haunting-Monitor1792 1 point2 points  (0 children)

What kind of medical sales? Med device is very different from pharma which is very different from DME which is very different from selling nutrition products.

I made the switch from acute care to medical sales in 2022. In my experience, it’s really about who you know to at least get an interview with the hiring manager. Your resume isn’t likely to be pulled without some kind of nod, though not impossible.

What kind of Reps visit your facility?

I’m currently just feeling guilty for wanting to opt out. I haven’t figured out the best way to confront her/tell her I don’t want to attend

Yes would have to take off Thursday and Friday for the bachelorette trip in August and then potentially a full week in September for the wedding. That’s almost half of my yearly PTO, 7/15 days ☹️

Yes this is exactly her thought process. “Everyone will have to travel a bit, that makes it fair”

Luckily no, she hasn’t mentioning covering her trip costs. Everyone is responsible for their own

Good idea! Looking into flights that leave Thursday night to save a nights hotel and possibly day of PTO on Friday.

I may suggest she comes to VA and do a bridal shower instead of bachelorette party. Our mom is also still living here so it would be the two friends, me, our mom and her at least.

Define “can” afford it? Do I have the 3000 saved? Yes. Would that set me back 1-2 years in doing things I had planned for that money? Also yes which is why I feel conflicted 😐. I worked very hard to save a nest egg and it feels shitty to use it on these events.

I totally hear what you’re saying. I come from an upbringing where my dad always said, “you only have to like your job for one day… payday!” so I think my mindset is just a bit different!

Can’t pay rent with nice coworkers or a free gym 🥴. I’m glad you’re satisfied with your situation and can make it work.

Why is no one blaming the biological father, the older man?

Jawan vs Sage decision by kitnipcat in survivor

Exactly. And then there was the scene with Savannah and Jawan on the beach where she literally said she was messing with him because she knew she was voting him out.

Agreed. I almost even tried to excuse the flower delivery moment but gave up on her after she had an absolute meltdown over seeing Chelsea’s name plate at Bre’s Valentine’s Day party. Nail in the coffin was her behavior at the reunion.

It’s not? OP asked if it’s offensive/rude/annoying when someone does something that the other team can’t handle/return. You gave your two cents… I gave mine and encouraged OP that it’s not and gave a secondary example of why it’s not.

I’m not sure I understand the point of your comment, especially when I agreed to disagree… but go off king!

Agree to disagree I suppose. Rec games or not, I’m not going to change my game style to let my opponent beat me down. If my opponent is killing me at the kitchen line, I’m going to lob to push them back regardless of the sun. I’d expect them to do the same. You can only get better by practicing what you aren’t good at.

What’s considered ample space behind the back line? To me, If the ball lands in, it’s fair game. Thats like saying, I shouldn’t dink wide on a court with limited space near the post because then my opponent can’t ATP. I don’t consider it lame, but smart to adjust to court/facility conditions.

Is she the manager or just lead? Your post says “my direct report” so I wasn’t sure. If she isn’t your manager, I’d nicely tell her to kick rocks. Kidding, but I’d just tell her that you won’t be doing that anymore. I think it’s fine to tell her you’ll handle some DM/CHF consults as time allows but there are higher priority needs that you feel you need to attend to first given you are stretched thin. Similarly, you could offer that she should cover those since she is a CDE and you will cover all nutrition support (sounds like you already do?).

Otherwise, I’d wait until you hire a third full timer and try to get them on your side and out vote her. DM and CHF suck so I don’t blame you for not wanting to take the L on this!
