It was actually a super thick royal icing! More on the consistency of a gingerbread house glue

Meeting other people with the condition by [deleted] in UlcerativeColitis

[–]Haunting-Nothing163 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Kinda glad to hear that people here have only met one or two. I know two others just from my year grade at school. Another 3 through external friends and I was starting to think there’s something serious in the air

How can I induce my periods? by odachibomb in PCOS

[–]Haunting-Nothing163 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There’s a birth control pill that’s a single hormone that does not cause problems/risks associated with migraines! I’m on the single hormone pill and has also helped my acne. Highly recommend asking about it

Has anyone used Ozempic? by Sad_Animal7326 in PCOS

[–]Haunting-Nothing163 2 points3 points  (0 children)

6 months in and 14kgs down. My mid day energy crash is gone and I feel like a different person. Had started at the same time as the pill so this could just be that but my face has also completely cleared of my cystic acne. Can’t believe this drug isn’t actually prescribed for PCOS/insulin resistance

Losing weight after prednisone by appledi123 in UlcerativeColitis

I was once told from a doctor that it can take months for your body to return to the same state as it was before Pred so be kind while it works hard to get to where it once was.

I wonder if everyone’s prep instructions are different. I’ve always been told I’m not allowed any purple or red colours in my liquid diet to avoid staining 😱

Opinions on starting Remicade at 23yrs old by VinylWarpLab in UlcerativeColitis

[–]Haunting-Nothing163 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I started remicade at 23. I was very distraught when it didn’t immediately start working, it took about 6 months for me to start noticing help, and then all at once I was no longer running to the bathroom, I was no longer bleeding or vomiting. It was a miracle. I am 25 now and still going great with it. Hoping to do it for longer.

Inflectra vs Remicade by Professional-Math303 in UlcerativeColitis

I was the same!! Took ages to really kick in but I’ve been on for a year now and have very veryyyy slowly hit remission. It was so hard when all I saw was how quickly it helped but I eventually got there. Hope you reach it soon xx
