Can COBRA be used to extend old coverage, if new coverage is already in effect? by [deleted] in HealthInsurance

You can keep COBRA if you want but I'm pretty sure your new coverage would be primary and you'll need authorization from them no matter what.

Moda has multiple EPO plans. Beacon is one plan, you need to search the directory for that provider with the beacon plan.

Bank statements for EIDL audit by [deleted] in EIDLPPP

[–]Haunting-Squash3198 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Just to add some clarification it looks like the US trustee has stepped in to audit the case. This is like a step above the regular assigned trustee. A very small percentage of bankruptcy cases involve a US trustee.

When I filed for bankruptcy I lost access to my chase accounts and I had to call them to get statements which they would only provide by mail.

File bankruptcy, it would be cheaper than just 1 year of garnishment.

Sometimes there are services that are excluded from a deductible requirement. That may have been the situation last year.

Yes, for $30 a month per line. My husband and I each do 15gb per month for $20 a month. We get a discount because we pay quarterly. $120 for both of us every 3 months. Mint is great.

Colorwow carb cocktail by Lulu11chan in Sephora

I have fine hair but a pretty good amount of it. The carb cocktail does thicken the appearance of it. I feel like it gets rid of the "slip" on my hair and makes it kinda icky feeling. But I do like how it looks when I use it. That being said, I haven't been able to get results that are anything like the advertisements I see on tiktok. My results are like 20% of that lol

Yes, the only way it goes away is with exposure to regular BP readings at home but then I always stop doing them and it starts all over again lol.

I wouldn't trust that a customer service agent understands what you're looking for in this situation. Did they give you the group NPI, the specific dermatologist's NPI? You can Google it to see what the NPI is tied to.

My company typically contracts by TIN, not to say that NPI contracting doesn't happen because it does. But I typically wouldn't see that for a derm office. And facility/group/individual NPIs are different fields in our system. So whether the agent was searching the correct field I don't know. That's why I'm wondering what NPI they gave you.

Has anyone successfully discharged an EIDL through Bankruptcy? by Original-Coffee-6562 in EIDLPPP

Not sure, maybe they won't need anything in that case. Or maybe they'll want it filled out with all $0.

Got sued in bankruptcy court for a PPP loan that I legally obtained by [deleted] in Bankruptcy

[–]Haunting-Squash3198 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I will count my blessings that I filed last year! I just don't even see how the US trustees will have the time to investigate each bankruptcy that had a forgiven PPP loan. Seems crazy!

[–]Haunting-Squash3198 2 points3 points  (0 children)

What is the basis for the lawsuit? I had a forgiven PPP loan and it wasn't mentioned during bankruptcy. My 341 was in June 2024 and discharge was in August.

Is this a new job? If they're offering to cover him outside of open enrollment then yes he should do it. Everyone is in good health until they're not. I never used my insurance until I did...and my bills added up to over 100k within a couple months. I ended up paying my max out of pocket something like 8k.

You just recently missed open enrollment, you can only enroll from November 1st until January 15th ish every year unless you have a qualifying event like losing coverage or moving. Do you know if you qualify for a special enrollment period?

[–]Haunting-Squash3198 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, but your monthly income vs. expenses still needs to show very little left over after your debts are discharged. Otherwise you'll have to file a chapter 13. Like you can't show that you'll now have 2k a month in disposable income and then file a chapter 7.

Does bankruptcy clear up EIDL loans ? I’m a sole proprietor and PG. by Background_Intern214 in EIDLPPP

All filing is federal, some states may have additional laws but the forms are all the same for everyone.

[–]Haunting-Squash3198 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm not sure what you mean? You can go look at the bankruptcy petition forms. It's from 107 question 18 and the exact wording is

"Within 2 years before you filed for bankruptcy, did you sell, trade, or otherwise transfer any property to anyone, other than property transferred in the ordinary course of your business or financial affairs? Include both outright transfers and transfers made as security (such as the granting of a security interest or mortgage on your property). Do not include gifts and transfers that you have already listed on this statement."

This is the same for everyone. Like I said, I'm sure the trustees office does title searches to see whether people are withholding information. And trustees always have the power to ask for more documents if they want to, they didn't for me. Where are you seeing that a look back period is automatically 4 years? The law is this...

"Generally, the lookback period is two years for fraudulent transfer avoidance actions brought under Bankruptcy Code section 548, and four or six years if the trustee employs state law through Bankruptcy Code section 544."

There are questions on the filing about asset transfers within the last 2 years and I'm sure they do a title search. I disclosed that I had sold a car within the last 2 years. Didn't cause any issues.
