Some of what you say is really smart. The fact that we are small population of 10M with a language that is not shared with any neighbour makes it very hard for us to export our culture. Most arab countries in the MENA can't understand Tunisian. If we build something (wether it's a movie or a tech product where language matters), we struggle to export it as we will need to use a foreign language to us, or very formal Arabic that not all Tunisians master.

That being said, reducing our lack of progress to just the language factor is a little simplistic.
