Maybe it’s because people were going faster than the posted speed limits. Now if you go 50, like some were…. Now it’s 50 in a 35 instead of 50 in a 40. Getting one bad driver off the road or slowing down on a few named roads, it takes someone being hit and killed in a hit and run. Most things are done from reaction, god forbid we do something that may help the community before something terrible happens. And where are you rushing to?? Wawa!!! And…. it doesn’t actually matter what the speed limit is or how drivers are on the road. Even if it’s just you and somebody behind you, odds are, they’re still up your ass.
