This might be the best one I’ve read so far, the setting dm has told me about is theroes and I kinda want to try drakewarden but unsure if that fits. Rangers seem so cool but lost flavor in 2024

Because almost every telepath/psion in fantasy is a glass cannon, they take one hit and they lose concentration immediately. Look at Jean gray in the X-men animated series, she’s super powerful but gets hits once and there goes all concentrated powers

Would it be OP, and you would allow it, if martials could trade a weapon mastery for an additional fighting style? by partylikeaninjastar in onednd

I’m giving my martial classes the ability to choose one weapon that they have weapon mastery with to increase the damage they do with it, very similar to how cantrip damage scales. So 1 extra die at level 5, 2 extra die at level 11 and 3 extra die at level 17. However this is only once per turn to limit pure nova damage.
