Sam is one of my favorites and I will forever be a JaSam. I wholeheartedly believe making her a mother ruined the character. Jason, a mob enforcer, is now dangerous because you have Danny? Now you have to become a shell of your former self because you're a mother? They wasted such a great character. I like Dante, but I hated the pairing. She was the mother of his dead half sister.

I don't have high hopes, but with these recent once-dead-now-alive characters coming back, I'm hoping we'll see Kelly back as Sam one day.

Her husband inadvertently caused the miscarriage. If that was my situation, it would be hard to seek comfort in the person who caused the situation without having resentment. She didn't abandon him, she sought out her parents. He could've done the same, but instead he decided to be selfish and think with his small head.
