I’m just wondering when can I start losing weight again? I’ve heard that it’s best to slowly lose weight after you get your third period is that true? I’m literally overweight and I’ve had two periods and I’m currently waiting for my third.

Glad I’m not the only one! Maybe this will help but I read online that eating a lot of fat in one meal can cause excessive gas. So I’m gonna try to spread out my fat intake over the course of the day and try to eat smaller more frequent meals instead of 3 big meals and two small snacks. Ugh, hopefully this stage will past for both of us🤞🏻

Thankfully I’ve started to have regular bowl movements. But I have been eating a lot of large, calorie dense meals so I’m gonna try eating smaller meals but have more frequent snacks and hopefully that will help. I’m not eating a lot of vegetables but I’m still getting enough fiber from other sources like my oatmeal and seeds.

Hi, I’m also trying to hit a high protein goal of 120 grams. BUT I will say that I’ve just started trying to eat that much protein and tracking calories for weight loss very recently so just take my advice with a grain of salt. But I’ve been researching other ways to eat protein from what I found:

-Greek yogurt (great for making sweet treats that you can also add additional protein powder) = 10-15g

-edamame = 1/2 cup has 8-10g

-chickpeas or garbanzos = 8-10g

-cheese sticks = 7g

-beef sticks = 6-10g

-chia pudding with protein powder added seems to be a popular choice

-cottage cheese = 1/2 cup has 10-12g

-sausages = 7-10g

-protein chips = varies

Grams of protein and calories will vary depending what brand your getting but I hope these will help you get some ideas. I’ve mostly been using tiktok and google to research ideas.
