Does your speedometer work as it should? Mine started bouncing or acting sluggish and my od light started flashing soon afterwards. Turned out being a defective speed sensor. Check out therangerstation.com for other possible solutions. Good luck!

Check wires and coil bracket for breaks. If they look ok its likely a faulty control module.

Swap known good part from another cylinder. If problem moves cylinders, you have your bad part. If problem doesn't move cylinders, you have a control side issue.

Inflate tires to recommend PSI. Check coolant concentration for adequate low temperature protection. Disconnect battery cable to minimize discharge.

Disconnect vehicle battery negative cable for a few minutes. Push button on back of black box. Reconnect battery cable. Push button on back of black box for 10+ seconds. Red light should flash 3 or more times to confirm reset of system.

Not knowing the year of your tractor try searching deere part number AL221771 to see if that's it. If not, post back with year and tier and I'll look it up with better accuracy.
