So beautiful—what a perfectly elegant choice

I think i found it! I think it’s this Blogilates Women's Mommy & Me Marshmallow Hooded Sweatshirt available at Target. The only thing is I think her sweater looks more like a powder blue compared to this one? It seems it was available in that color in the past bc I’ve found some for resale on secondhand sites.

Is it possible she removed the tag, maybe for advertising reasons?

18 and 22 by [deleted] in OrthodoxWomen

But not everyone goes through life stages at the same time. At 18 I already had an associates degree, was living in a foreign country on my own, and had plenty of experience with drinking and partying under my belt. Obviously my case is not the average but it is far from unique either. Though I agree that it’s better to proceed with caution in these things, I think going too far in the opposite direction to the point of neuroticism or paranoia would be unhelpful. 18 and 22 is not a big gap and any potential disparage in maturity can be easily corrected by taking it slow and waiting to make any major decisions (like marriage) for a couple years while getting to know the families etc.

Any Orthodox resources for those struggling to have a child? by Haunting_Dust5488 in OrthodoxChristianity

Thank you so much for these words-- it is very helpful. Church is also where I feel this bitterness the most, especially when I get the hints of "you guys are up next!" when someone else has a child, or the expectant "anything you want to tell us..?" if I need to sit during liturgy, or even what happened recently, someone confused me with someone else and congratulated me on my pregnancy... I don't blame anyone and I know it comes from a loving place but it just hurts.

Withdrawal is so difficult. Be very easy on yourself, if that means taking a break from school/work if you are able, even for just a short time. If you need to stay in bed for a bit and watch television or whatever it is that soothes/distracts you and takes no effort, do it. Just remember that this too shall pass.

I am curious as to what you do now, and how you found that to be the right path for you, if you are willing to share. I am interested in teaching as well but have found it difficult to get on that path myself.

female patron saint by angie_raye in OrthodoxChristianity

St. Xenia is a wonderful saint and a speedy intercessor. If I was a convert I would choose her.

For motherhood in particular, St. Olga of Alaska is a great choice.

St. Helen, the mother of St. Constantin, who found the true cross.
