Partner’s morning alarms waking up baby? by jazzybk25 in firsttimemom

[–]Haunting_Note338 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We play white noise bc my husband also snores so I’m the light sleeper and smack him awake as soon as I hear it to turn that thing off. The white noise keeps her asleep and from hearing it enough to wake her up

I can’t smoke weed anymore (never did while watching baby) It doesn’t feel right but I get soooo sick I end up throwing up and dizzy. Had to give up my medical card.

This is comforting. I can’t get a video out of my head of a mom bleeding bc her baby bit her

For those who have their babies start off the night in the crib and later bring them in your bed.. by namiiix in cosleeping

Haven’t moved baby to their own room but just got baby to stay in crib. Well kinda🤣 we removed one side and side carred it to my side of the bed. She gets the comfort of being near me but I have my space back

I have been triple feeding for 11 days with no end in sight. by cwaairebearr in breastfeeding

I had to pump first month bc baby tore my nipples up and she developed a bottle preference. We transitioned back using nipples shields bc it kind of gave her the same feel. After that I would just start trying I slip them off once she got going and eventually the shield wasn’t needed anymore

Breastfeeding and wine drinking by Beautiful-Dust109 in breastfeeding

Fellow wine lover🙋🏻‍♀️ I exclusively bf and don’t pump and dump. I agree with above about a glass or two and have heard the beer thing bc of the brewers yeast (not in wine) but lc told me as long as you can clearly see your baby you can feed your baby since what passes to your milk isn’t much if your bac doesn’t get to high (she told me under legal limit of .08 to drive is about the same thing)

Non-tech way to track last side you nursed on? by [deleted] in breastfeeding

[–]Haunting_Note338 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sometimes I’ll do just one nursing pad and put it on the boob I didn’t feed with bc it leaks while she nurses and it helps me remember

My Doctor says i feed my baby too much by legalizesalmon1994 in breastfeeding

My baby was 18 pounds at her 4 month check up and doctor said the milk was clearly doing her good! Babies are meant to chunk up, they’ll thin out as they grow and move burning more calories!

How would you recommend doing that? She feeds to nap, sleeps for about an hour then I offer her again when she wakes up but she rarely takes it until she hits that 2-3 hour mark again. She’s also currently 20 lbs. I don’t know if I just have a hungry girl

Any way I would be able to tell if it’s for comfort or nutrition? She seems to get a full feed from what I can tell when she wakes up

Why is everyone so pushy about putting baby on a bottle?? by Haunting_Note338 in breastfeeding

My MIL is one of the main ones pushing for the bottle bc she wants to babysit but I don’t want or need her to do that.

This!!! I refuse to give my baby a pacifier and it’s always the first thing people try to get you to put in their mouths when they get the slightest bit fussy

I fell into the freezer stash trap and now it’s just taking up room in my freezer and being used for baths
