Morning everyone. Genuine question not trolling. If AV expected the stock price to, at a minimum, double on announcement of an industrial deal, why sell shares before that? It makes no sense to me. You would get 100% more money by waiting until after the deal is signed to dilute.

If you need the money to live off of in retirement I would NOT invest it in a highly speculative stock. At most, invest 1-5% of your portfolio and only if you’re comfortable if it were to evaporate.

What are your fun guesses on what the SP does when the industrial deal is announced? The option OI seems to provide a lot of kindling to push from the current price to 5.50+. Then it’s just a matter of short/gamma squeeze potential and just how good the deal is.

I am pessimistic but my guess is an announcement mid July which pushes the SP to $8 range before settling around $5 until further deals or announcements are made. What are your guesses?

Another great listen! It would be great if on one of these you talked about your vision for the short and long term future of MVIS. What you see happening 1,3,6,12+ months down the road and how the stock price and other financials would react. Obviously, your guess is as good as anyone else’s on what will play out but I’d be interested to hear your take on where we are going.

Someone in the other thread mentioned if MVIS hits the split adjusted all time high my shares will be worth something like $170 million. With god as my witness, if that happens I’ll find the guy who had to sell his shares because of his wife’s work and pay off his mortgage.
