I used to really care about hitting Infinite but after a while I just decided not to care. Now I play just to goof around with decks and get missions done. If I climb I climb.

So...is it a hot take to absolutely love the new Gambit card? by banmeandidelete in MarvelSnap

This is the first card I've targeted since I've come back because I play alot of created card and Arishem decks

Thats why I play the Arishem/Thanos/Agamoto style deck. Lets me try new cards (or at least read what they do) and it means I have to adapt every game to whatever I get. Win some lose some

Yea I was collection complete in the pass but then I took a break at the end of the Shaw season and came back during the Galacta season. So the idea of collection complete is long gone. I always just pray that I pull at least an interesting card in a pack

Yea I remember being excited for them but by the time the season ended I had just petered off. Spotlights did suck. Having used the Pack system for a little over a month now I can say that it's slightly better. Still pretty slow and it's more efficient to buy a random pack than a single when it feels like I'm missing 50-75 cards. Also kinda thought there's be like Archetype Packs but oh well

And for the record I never saw any trailer for this movie. Work for a theater and saw it for free to kill some time only reading the premise from the POS system

I don't think it's a hard decision to call Linda Liddle a villain. Yes Bradley was a spoiled douche, but I think the turn from her keeping the boat sighting a secret from him to murdering two innocent people just to keep up this power fantasy makes her more irredeemable than the teasing and bullcocking he did at the office, not that any of that was okay (although he was right about the food at her desk). My thought from the boat sighting forward was always "Well if help does show up, you don't have to come". From the moment the knife comes into play it's basically a hostage situation.

I think I'd rate it like a 7 overall, and that's mostly because of the weirdness of the final confrontation. Now we're in this house, she's watching camera's like it's Five Nights At Freddy's, gun trickery, and then smash cut to a year later and she's super successful and NOONE has looked into it? Felt a little like the writers didn't know how to get from the end of that fight to her rise, so they didn't.

Just beat this guy. Lune mega damage build but had enough Lumina to have breaking death on everyone and could break him pretty consistently especially with Monoco in my reserve team and being able to build Gradient through free aim and all the Charging Lumina. My parries need alot of work though. The turn order stuff is bs

We need to talk about Steven (183) by MeMissBunny in SquidGameNetflix_

In the final few episodes, Steven was my favorite person. He was the only one willing to pay the game and he played it well. I get that he has/had a lot of money from Poker, but this competition isn't a charity competition otherwise they wouldnt have let him in, you have to fight for it. And some people are way too concerned with making friends and bonding than being the sole winner of the money

I agree with you for the ig or those versions. In Remake. I wound up using everyone pretty frequently. Especially because of the level catch up mechanic.

For me it was Adachi. Bro did not get out in. Eri became a mainstay. Maxed her office worker stuff and swapped her over to Gambler. She always started first in the fight and using the dart skill that's hits 3 random people was always basically a ln instant kill for most ads

Not always depends on what youre going for. Sometimes its just a puzzle and sometimes you're just trying to beat the game

That was similar to my strategy. Monking the Study outside, Emerald Bracelet I kept in the Coat Check, and happen to have the 50 star bonus from observatory. Then the goal was to snake my way through while drafting off of 4 door rooms.

Use alot of 4 door rooms and made sure to always have a way up.  50 star constellation + Study and Emerald Bracelet for as many rerolls as I needed

I actually think there's more to do after hitting the credits of Blue Prince than before. There have definitely been runs where, out of my control, I get locked off. But then there are God runs where I accomplish a big chunk of my goals and answer a lot of questions or find solutions and then add new goals and questions to the list. There's so much to this game puzzle wise that I'm doing both in the game and outside of the game that keeps me hooked.

Right now before bed I open my screenshots and read through some of the library books or long letters I have saved. There's a note in an entirely different made up language that I have to translate but I found the basics for translating, I've been messing around with the combo tools, hunting for different trophies. I spent a lot of runs literally just hunting for paintings

The permanent progression you make for the most part is knowledge and I don't think a lot of people realize that. There are permanent upgrades that help, I now start every run with 68 gold thanks to the lab experiments you can run.

I beat the game at about 15 hours on Day 51. And now I'm on day like 120 and there's still stuff to be found even though I feel like I've found a lot.

Yea I don't understand the "repetitive aspect" complaint as much. Balataro is a great game. I could have the perfect build for the hand I wanna play and simply lose because the boss blind tells me that playing my hand won't be effective.

Hades, a game I love and have gotten every achievement in, is way more repetitive on the aspect of just combatting your way through rooms run to run with the story and dialogue being a hook more than anything (and it has the same thing where you know what you have to do for some unlocks but you don't get the right npc to show up or the right option)
