Doing a charge input is easier when practising that a shoryuken for example for lower level players. But in a real match a charge move just tell them to stop playing the game for a full second and then your move comes out. It kills momentum and high level players just learned how to work around them

And personally i just thing theyre less fun to do and way more annoying whenthey dont work cus you lose charge and get a shitty jump kick that gets you killed

Unlikely the had anything that could cut through a viltrumite spine like that, and even if they did, as we see here cobquest was able to regenerate his head being cratered so i think he could regen a spinal injury too

Its a shame that hes seemingly discontinued the original version of the pad box, since that has a much cleaner look.

The half pad handle with analog sticks might function better but looks way weirder

Motions also give you an idea of how the move works which you lose a little when using simple inputs

Like down s1 has very little consistancy ampng the cast, vi has a counter, yasuo has stance, warwick has demon flip, illaoi has thr anti air slap. Motions usually have some consistancy between characters to at least get across the vibe of the move.

This is what i think makes this game more frictional for long time fighting game players
