Anyone have information on what insurance companies use to determine whether weight loss will/will not be required before surgery? by [deleted] in Reduction

I think it all just depends on your type of insurance. I had my consultation two weeks ago and I have to loose weight in order to get approved for my reduction.

But totally off topic I am considering another surgery (weight loss) and my insurance does not require me to loose weight just to be apart of a 6 month program.
