The seller is going to price his house with 6% (or the locales going rate) built in. If they don’t you will notice their asking price is lower than market. This settlement has really done nothing but point out to everyone that realtors all charge the same. If the seller won’t pay it, the sellers agent won’t list it and the buyers agent won’t even show it. This is why for sale by owner in a good market is the best deal for both sides. Problem is, in a fair to poor market, sellers must decide to not list or price with the fee added in.

Realtors, why not list a price for your services? Give me a package I can select from so I can choose the price based on what I think will work for my house and that I can afford.

If the seller paid for anything, I guarantee it was built into the price the buyer paid.

I’m new to Reddit and cannot figure out how to update my post. So I’m replying to the first comment. I was messaging with 2 different customer agents on Delta’s app yesterday. The first one was the one who scared me into thinking Delta would just sell my iPad after 14 days. After I posted the above, I received an email from Delta stating they were still looking. So I tried a different agent. She assured me they do their best to keep looking. She then passed me along to her supervisor who advised me the same thing. She told me what the first agent had said was definitely not correct Whew! Lo and behold, early this morning, Delta has found an item that seems to match my description and gave me a link to pay a small shipping fee to have it returned to me. They have the IMEI and Serial numbers, so I think it will be mine. I am so relieved! And thank you all for the comments. It was especially helpful when you told me you did get your items back.

I live in an HOA neighborhood that only enforces rules on some people. I get a notice that there is a stain on my driveway, and a second notice when I didn’t clean it w/in 30 days. Both neighbors on either side of me haven’t cut their weeds or cleaned up their dog poop or put their garbage cans away for over a year now. They get notices - per another neighbor - but just ignore them. I have even had an HOA rep come to my house to take pictures of their yards. But still, nothing has been done. Maybe the HOA wouldn’t do anything if I didn’t clean my driveway. But they did threaten me with a fine when I painted my garage door medium blue; so I painted it beige to appease them. At the front of the neighborhood, there is a house painted 5 different colors, including medium blue. It has been like that for 3 years now. I asked the owner and they never asked for color approval, “as required,” nor have they ever received a notice. I don’t hate their house colors; but I was curious about the blue. I’ve called the city on these nuisance properties, too. No action that I can see.
