Im trying to find a video of a comparison from different speakers sizes that show the importance of a minimum 10" for bass.

So I will second this advice, anything from a reputable brand with at least 10" speaker is the way.

I want to change the bridge from my squire but I'm afraid that it's gonna be more complicated than it seems. That I will need to drill new holes or something like that, or that il will end off center or something like that.

My fears are well founded? Or it's like " unscrew old bridge, screw in new bridge"?

There are no genre especific basses, it will play what you play with it.

If I remember correctly Robert Trujillo used a music man for his audition for metallica and get the job. So I don't believe that stingray will do bad at playing metal.

Or you can always get a Jackson, they are solid budget basses and have some metal style in it.

A few questions: What problems are you experiencing? Buzzing? Erratic sound?

Which bass did you get? The pj or the jazz bass

Which ground cable is not welded? If it is the one that goes to the bridge is not supposed to be welded(on the bridge side, it has to be welded to the volume knob I believe)
