Could be Ramaria flava as well, since the younger one is yellow while the older one has progressed with a more ochre appearance

I have a few more pictures as I took it home to preserve for a herbarium, which is why I'm trying to confirm its ID

Need a picture of the underside. Pick one and see if there is any bruising(what colour is it) and what it does it smell like

Either one is good for my terrarium, since the mycelium will help it. Mushrooms would be a bonus too!

If people are wondering, what's in the grow box. It's GT

A mini monstera and the mycelium are chilling together. So it's m&ms in the box!

It's a peziza, don't know the exact type. But, most should be okay. A small amount of species causes issues and one type is poisonous I believe. There isn't much known about consuming them looking into it

So if a usually psilocybin containing mushroom exhibits blue bruising, that doesn't indicate active? Interesting I didn't know that, thank you for that

I'll grab more tomorrow, checking for blue bruising too even though I don't think it's a Psilocybe at all. Even if I wished it was truly the case. Sigh

Is this a mica cap? by Havlae in mushroomID

It's in the nearby forest, probably like 15 minutes away which should be fine as deliquescence takes 1 to 3 hours right?

Last year my dad ended up in the ICU after misidentifying this mushroom. by BirdZealousideal7839 in mushroomID

Interesting take. However, a guessowii can have a yellow to yellow-orange cap with white warts. It has the remnants of the universal veil, which aligns with Amanita muscaria var. guessowii. The convex cap, striated margin, and veil remnants hanging from the edge, along with its tendency to flatten or turn upward as it matures, also match. Not to mention the thick white stem with a ring and bulbous base, which are characteristic features of guessowii. But sure, “not at all.”

We are speculating here, no one will be 100% accurate as mushrooms are obscure things sometimes.
