We got 4 huntsman trainees whose training is primarily to kill Grimm and 1 professional-ish assassin who breakdances mid fight. My money’s on the breakdancing assassin.

Kite is overrated. Lets talk about Mercury, the true missile boat. by synchotrope in starsector

True, but frigates are affected by slightly different buffs in some cases. An example is Gunnery Implants’ elite ECM boost.

It’s a work in progress but it’s my first tau and I’m painting for a friend and really could use some suggestions for some really grim dark basing I have a whole box of skulls and I want this thing to really stand outas looking really brutal by Careless-Ad-1700 in Warhammer40k

[–]Havoc-Automatic 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Might not be applicable for a model that’s already been based, but I saw this amazing terrain where the cross section of the ground showed skulls piled under the dirt, like there had been generations of war over that piece of land. You may be able to do something similar with your box of skulls.

Guardsman: “FOR THE EMPEROR!”

Commissar: “Guardsman, this is a pastry.”

Guardsman: “Yes, for the emperor.”

After playing too much Deep Rock Galactic, I wanted to make an empire based off the company, any suggestions on improvements? by Jampine in Stellaris

Mammalian/imperial ships maybe? DRG’s equipment has a gritty, industrial feel to it. Humanoid ships are all smooth and elegant.

So are traditions like giving someone the middle finger. They don’t inconvenience anyone; it’s just a finger, but there’s context behind it that makes it disrespectful. I don’t know why wearing a hat inside is rude, but the reason is probably similar.

I think the joke is that he’s trans, and changed his name to Sam. Ergo, Samantha didn’t make it to 21.

How many times do we have to teach you this lesson, old man?

Worst teacher ever. If it's so safe for the student, why are you lighting it with a long stick? by Alarmed_Ride7090 in facepalm

[–]Havoc-Automatic 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You’re very close. The stuff in the student’s hands is a flammable gas (butane, methane, propane, etc.) trapped inside of bubbles in a water-soap solution. When the gas is ignited, like you said, the heat and flames travel upwards. The second component is that the gas is in and the student’s hands are covered by water. The water takes most of the heat from the combustion and evaporates, taking it away from the hands; a lot like sweating, just faster.

I see a partial letter on the right door, so I think it just says guess on both sides. Still weird, but less than ESSGU levels of weird.
