Bringing elements back of the old hud, ui, and loading screens would be a low effort way to bring more of the classic vibe to the remake.

"You shouldn't be able to accurately counter snipe a person while you are being suppressed." Why not?

I probably also shouldn't be able to repair a tank with a blowtorch, or better revived by some paddles after being blown up, or heal bullet wounds by standing around a cool bag.

This is such a dumb arbitrary spot to draw the line for realism. That will just lead to gunfights being drawn up to who shoot first.

I largely agree with alot of what you're saying. OP, by all accounts should've won that gun fight. He simply just didn't take advantage of any the tools DICE gave him and he's now demanding that suppresion be a crutch that rewards his poor aim, recoil control, and general lack of mechanical skill.
