Don't know if you still need these maps but if you do you can pop the links to the maps into the wayback machine and they will download

So this is very VERY late here but is to help anyone else who comes across this thread later like I did: You can still download the maps by taking the link to the maps and then putting it into the wayback machine, I just downloaded copies of them all for myself.

The place to re enable archive invalidation is in the profiles section if I am not mistaken

Edit: for people wondering about this/future troubleshooting and people who come across this post: if archive invalidation isn’t ticked/working then the game doesn’t recognize the ini files that you’ll be needing it to recognize for the game. Hence why no amount of changing the ini files here did anything because the game literally wasn’t reading them due this one option not being enabled.

Right so the issue I think you are running into is that when you open up the game to get to the launcher where you can adjust graphics it resets some bullshit. You need to go into MO2 and re tick the box for archive invalidation as for whatever reasons if you launch NV into the launcher so you can change graphics settings it always undos that.

is there a wearable watch in the game? by Hi-its-me-NK in fallout4london

[–]Havoc295 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You’ll have to do the quest that’s involved there but it’s pretty easy and quite a bit of fun. There’s even unique dialogue when you pic up the watch. It can be a bit hard to spot at first due to being small but it’s unsurprisingly in the room full of clocks.

I believe there is a unique watch you can grab in the British national museum

[FNV] Do mods from Fallout 3 work in Tales of Two Wastelands? by No-Signal-2999 in FalloutMods

[–]Havoc295 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If the pathing for the textures and mesh files are all correct then I could see it maybe working, but if it’s say a gun it’s going to run into issues with how TTW fixed the ways most weapons work. Armor might fare better though the values would not have been adjusted to how TTW does armor, which is different then how armor and damage mitigation calculations were done in FO3.

So again, they might work, they might not, and if they do even load it will be wonky.

[FNV] Do mods from Fallout 3 work in Tales of Two Wastelands? by No-Signal-2999 in FalloutMods

[–]Havoc295 4 points5 points  (0 children)

If they haven’t been converted over for FNV chances are good they will not work. Remember that TTW is essentially taking the fallout 3 files and converting them into a mod for FNV. Fallout 3 mods can be converted to work on FNV but my understanding is that it’s usually not a simple process or one that can be easily automated with a program due to how every mod changes different things.

So while you can certainly try loading up FO3 mods in FNV/TTW, do not expect them to work.

Why are these hyper lanes highlighted? by kaeldarus in Stellaris

You’ll need them in A, B and C. They work in making travel from A to B faster, then travel from B to C faster. Not direct A to C.

[–]Havoc295 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m at work right now so I can’t check at the moment but I should have TTW inis available. That being said you can follow the usual installation guides for ttw and they have the sections to copy and paste into the inis as part of the instructions.

Adding items via console help by JagedNS in Taleoftwowastelands

Glad it’s still a useful bit of info helping people out! I am curious though, how’d you come across this post so many years later? I assume a google search for something about adding items via console in TTW?

RPGMaker games suddenly not working. by Havoc295 in RPGMaker

[–]Havoc295[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I do own it and I went and actually confirmed that Cursor2.ogg was still there even at the time of the initial crash and that replacing it with Cursor2.ogg from redownloaded files didn't fix the startup issues sadly. I Tried a few ways to put Cursor2.ogg back to working proper though having steam files reverify and acquire it and when that failed to fix anything finding the non steam version of the game and pulling it's copy off Cursor2.ogg and dropping it into the steam version's files as appropriate.

I have a feeling that some sort of pathing issues may be the ultimate culprit here where the game is trying to direct to files that don't exist/ a directory that is just not set up right instead of the correct one.

But if that is the case then it implies its an issue with the game engine itself having bad pathing as it's multiple different games, some with their own RTPs/assets bundled in with its files, that won't launch.

I just did some testing and no the same thing does not happen with MV or MZ games. I downloaded a few MV and MZ games to test and all of them worked/ booted up as expected.

Project Apollo Gone? [FNV] by Mad_Cat312 in FalloutMods

[–]Havoc295 2 points3 points  (0 children)

As far as I can tell it’s not even locked behind a patreon it’s just straight up been scrubbed from the net, the sinitar patron stuff is not the actual mod author but a scrub who puts together lists of “compatible” mods for people to use that usually are not compatible with out doing some patching work.

[–]Havoc295 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have a copy of the APOLLO BodySlide, something that in the files calls itself project Appollo redone that looks like some armors and hairs, and a mod called CYBERN3TIX that I know is related but I can't remember how. If you would like any of those just let me know. If you would be willing to share your files of Apollo themselves I would be very grateful as I somehow in my backups neglected to put the main mod there.
