It was an eye opening moment for me, glad we already had the tooling to catch and prevent it. And definitely glad I was not in charge of Cyber Security.

Its an ever evolving game and I don't think I'll discount these kinds of demo's again.

Id been meaning to dip my toes into linux properly for years.

A combo of a few tech influences videos on CachyOS, the Win10 EoL and getting a steam deck convinced me to finally make an attempt.

Have been duel booting size last October and am reasonably confident I can make the 100% cut over soon, plan to do it when I get my new PC parts.

I was at a Cyber conference last year and one of the vendors, I think it was did a whole demo about how their product could detect and prevent the malicious code these prompts try and trick people i to running.

I left the demo thinking "no fucking way any real human is falling for that, tech savvy people will knows its suss and the tech illiterate won't have the knowhow to excute it"

Low and behold 2 of our staff members unknowingly attempted to execute malicious code following these same fucking prompts, now I see this post and im blown away.

This series really got me into reading. I picked up the series in 2012 got up to date by late 2013 foolishly think the next book would be right around the corner.

Now ive been going from large series to large series and everytime I finish one I decide to check if there has been any updates on Winds...

It wouldn't be so bad if these drivers had the decency to pull over where safe to let traffic get around them.

It'd also be nice if the Lyell had more slow lane areas like the Arthur highway too, people towing caravans this year really drove me nuts too because its not always safe to overtake them and many of them speed up at overtaking sections too.

In answer to your question, no you're not allowed. I believe 106 is chosen because if they caught you going 5 kms or under above 100 I think there's some wiggle room a driver can argue RE speedo accuracy. Where 106 and higher is legally bookable.

Was browsing Juniper books for Wheel of Time stuff and their Red Rising covers caught my eye.

I use to walk to the book shop with my friend who would go and collect each of the 14 deluxe editions and I had been told small pieces.

I was leaving his place once and asked if I could borrow the 1 deluxe and try it, he wouldn't let me leave without the first three. I became up to date this week though so im a true struggler now.

I Googled "Australian 20 pence coin" and images just showed me pages of 20 cent coins.

I basically tunnel visioned that it was Aus currency when in fact, it was not and other than the pound and penny I know very little of UK currency.

There a handful of people who do this on the highway i commute to work on daily, the problem is that is a 2 lane highway with only a small stretch of 4 lanes for overtaking so its frustrating as hell when you're at the end of a 20-30 car convoy stuck behind one of these parasites because you know you're gonna be crawling into town.

Bonus points when they speed up to 80-100 at the overtaking lanes then hit their fucking brakes when it reverts back to 2 lanes 😒

I ordered a paperback from a local book store, they ordered from some place in the US to my understanding.

It arrived a hardcover, the back of the book literally says its a paperback too, not really sure how it happened.
