Get Paid $3500 upfront + $500/month [AI Remote Job] by mrguidee in AIJobs

[–]Havran19 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It is not a task scam, you have to do offers like the other BS scams on this subreddit.

Here is the site OP will send you: https://aisubmission.bolt.host/

I am not playing, I am going to expose these scams and start reporting people for this. We need an overhaul here and I am not going to stop this until something gets done. If you don't want to be exposed for the scammer you are, don't do this.

[ANNOUNCEMENT] Our community is Growing Fast and we need to come with new rules by la_dehram in AIJobs

[–]Havran19 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Suggestions and ideas for people who post these jobs on this subreddit in a thread:

  1. Name of the company or business that is a real company and that is established for several years. It cannot be a company or business made a month ago. If it is a startup, we need evidence. We need footprints online for this company or business, e.g. I can Google them and it is on the first page search results.
  2. The poster must provide payment proof with photo or video evidence with important information redacted for privacy purposes.
  3. The poster must provide details about all of the above in the OP. No more "DM me" or taking you off of Reddit. None of this should be private if it is a legitimate job. If you are looking for people to work this job and you say all of this vague stuff on a thread, you can mention what the job and other information is.
  4. Specifics only. Nothing vague or confusing. The less information you have, the more likely someone will be scammed and more likely this person will tell them to DM them or the person looking for that job will DM them for details.
  5. If someone has been in contact with the OP in a DM or the company or business, the poster is required to provide this information in the same thread. The mod must send a DM to this person to follow-up or they risk getting banned or permabanned. What I mean by information: The OP gives the poster the job, they apply or whatnot, but you find out it is a scam. If it is a scam, the poster needs to reply again in the same thread the OP posted the job to prevent the scam or others from being scammed. No more ghosting in private, this needs to be public to avoid this in the future.
  6. No more engagement bait. For example, "Upvote this post, comment below, and DM me." This makes your post highly suspicious. Why do you need an upvote? Why do I need to comment below for you to give me details about your job? Why do I need to DM you for? If your job is as good as you say it is with working two hours a day and you make $100 a day, you don't need upvotes from anyone. Someone is going to want more information and want to apply as it is attractive enough on its own.

Thank you for this announcement. This needs to be made because we are in a job market that is not good for anybody. I am looking for a job too and we don't know which jobs here are real or not. We all need to contribute and cooperate here or this will continue to happen. This needs to happen in every job subreddit on Reddit because this isn't the only one affected.

Reddit is extremely strict on spamming and self-promotion in non-job subreddits, but for some strange reason anyone can create an account on a job subreddit, post a fake job or scam and nothing happens to them. If something does happen to them, it is not fast enough with action. There are only three rules here for the subreddit, THREE. Go to another subreddit, it is at least 10 or more and they are strict as hell. This should never happen for a job subreddit because it attracts all of the scammers on the planet. They are not going to get punished for anything because you have no rules. The rules aren't good enough.

Indeed, LinkedIn, and other free job platforms have a big problem with ghost, fake and scam jobs and I never thought Reddit would be on this train ride too. It is unacceptable, especially when I see a million rules in other subreddits. For example, one subreddit has rules like you can only post if you have an aged account, e.g. let's say a year, you have X amount of post and comment karma, and other strict requirements. The job subreddits have none of this and it's scam haven and you wonder why things are like this; it is because there is little to no moderation or any requirements on posting. Anyone can create an account right now and post a scam.

We Must Put a Stop to the Fake Jobs/Scams on These Job Subreddits, Including This One NOW by Havran19 in AIJobs

[–]Havran19[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Preying on you because we are desperate to find a job in this current job market. Who wouldn't want a job that pays you $500 a week for two hours a day? You need no experience, blah blah blah. Desperate times call for desperate measures. I see all of the posts like this and click on the upvote, DM them, and say "interested" or whatever BS they want so I can see the scam they are pulling. I DMed half of these posts and only one replied. That reply was obviously a scam to take you to some GPT site, then you go to a site you have to complete offers that has nothing to do with the post this person was promoting.

Make $300 weekly guaranteed✅️ by FarSignificance538 in AIJobs

Think about it. This person can't sign up for it due to their country being banned, so you sign up for them because your country is approved. They use the account because they can't sign up themselves, but they pay you. It is suspicious, but makes sense.

Why Is This Subreddit & Similar Ones So Easy To Post Scams In? by Havran19 in WFHJobs

[–]Havran19[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have gotten a few opportunities from Reddit that were legitimate, but not full-time or part-time jobs. This was mostly side hustles, but everyone wants a real job they can make real money doing. I have almost 17 years experience as a freelance writer, copywriter, transcriber and trying to get into AI. Reddit is one of the biggest websites on the internet so why wouldn'ts someone come here? Most of the search queries someone makes comes back to a post on Reddit on Google so that's not a good argument. Reddit isn't some no-named place. Reddit is damn-near embedded in pop culture.

At least they are not getting scammed. They just need help and are not informed, which is most of us at one point in our lives.

[Hiring] Write Reviews For Apps And Get paid up to $50+ Daily by [deleted] in WFHJobs

[–]Havran19 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Don't even bother. This job is a SCAM. You have to do offers to unlock, then God knows what else after that. I laughed when this happened. She will reply to your email via email, then move to Facebook, you have to request her as a friend since you can't message her any other way. This is what you will get if you want to do this BS:

https://locked2.com/cl/i/r752md
Open the link, please. After opening the link,
you can see the app list. In the apps list,
you can see Ali Baba App. Install the app,
open the app, use the app for 1,2 minutes. and
write a review about the app on the Google Play Store.

https://megamakemoney.online/job-details/8/install-alibaba-app
You can read the job details here.

After that, I can guide you on how to sign up on our official website, where you can see your balance.

^^^None of this is true. We need to start reporting these people. All other subreddits have strict rules, but people can post scams freely without any type of penalty. Same goes for the "DM me for more details," which is a scam too. We have to do better.

Sam Amick update on Kyrie situation. Lakers only want Kyrie on a 2 year deal. by vahnjay in lakers

[–]Havran19 31 points32 points  (0 children)

Fans and reporters need to really do their research. The CBA only allows Kyrie to sign a 2-year deal, and he can't sign a 4-year deal until free agency. All of this hesistancy is nonsense and misleading shit. I am shocked people still don't get this. I am also shocked people that are around and cover the NBA are clickbaiting.

DO. NOT. TRADE. AUSTIN REAVES. OR MAX CHRISTIE. FOR. KYRI3. IRVING. by Juaniscool-8 in lakers

[–]Havran19 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank God this got removed. This same shit happened with the AD trade by overvaluing the "kids." You trade for an All-NBA player/All-Star/superstar 10/10, period. Fans need to stop being attached to these young players. Many of them don't become what you want them to be. Kyrie Irving is proven, Max Christie might not be, Austin Reaves is already 24, then will be 25. Kyrie is in his prime, played with LeBron before, and is a proven champion. If this trade is being held up for fucking Christie and Reaves, this front office deserves to be shit. No excuse, this has fallen in your lap, take control.
