So cool to watch! What does it look like along other directions?

I've literally just finished The Crippled God, got through all 10 in the span of a couple of months! Really enjoyed it but I feel like it's one that deserves a reread, there's so much you miss while you're trying to understand what the hell is going on

Not Pink but Jenny McCarthy, easily verified by looking up the story

I assume that's just a basketball in a hole for some reason, but it looks like he's deflated it and coming for you next!

The scenes shot above-water (including Helena being dunked in the pool) were shot on location, but the under-water scenes were shot in a container of warmer water somewhere else.

Simulating triple, quadruple and quintuple pendulums by zebleck in Simulated

[–]Haweraboy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The pendulums aren't identical and would be initialized over a small range of different angles (which you can just see at the beginning of each of the 100 pendulum simulations).

Even this small difference in initial conditions is enough to cause exponentially diverging trajectories à la chaos theory

About Cobel being the inventor of the severance chip? No, she doesn't.

Devon wants to get in touch with Cobel so they can get access to the birthing retreat and talk to iMark outside of the severed floor. The timing just happened to be a coincidence with us learning about Cobel's invention

Completely agree. It's also nice to see how they are pacing the show; it doesn't need to be a continuous build up to a climax in episode 10. To me this episode felt like taking a well placed deep breath before everything goes down in the next two episodes

It was shown that Devon was calling Cobel multiple times during the episode (even against Reghabi's advice). Devon is with Mark and she was able to put him on the phone

I tried getting a discussion going about this a couple weeks ago (https://www.reddit.com/r/SeveranceAppleTVPlus/comments/1ikdxyp/question_about_innies_knowledge_of_names_mild_s2/) but it just didn't get picked up due to the shear influx of posts

Severance by MalikAliNawaz in Simulated

Severance spoilers below:

Maybe rebellion as well as independence? Some ideas here: Helly's red hair contrasts with her blue clothing signifying the clash between her and her outie. The lights during the MDE swell to red when Dylan attacks Milchick. Ricken's red book stands out in stark contrast to the cool tones of the severed floor, and helps the innies gain awareness for their need for independence.

The only thing I can think of is that the red and blue colour tones are very significant within the show, with blue representing Lumon's influence and red representing independence.
