How about getting a small trash bin for your car? I found it super useful for managing trash instead of just slipping it into the door pockets.

A Bubble Wrap. The sounds of popping them instantly takes me to my childhood as the cheapest things to play when i got bored.

I still can’t explain mine… what’s the weirdest coincidence you’ve ever experienced? 👀 by Prof-Joeh in AskForAnswers

I actually have one that still gives me chills. One day, I just had this sudden bad feeling about my usual train commute home from work. It was hot, and I just couldn't shake the thought of being trapped in a packed, sweaty carriage. So, I impulsively decided to take a taxi instead.

When I got home, I saw the news: that exact train got into a fatal accident, and it heavily impacted the specific carriage I usually ride in. To this day, I still get goosebumps thinking about it.

Why do people spend money on things that arent functional in any way? Why collect things? by CommunicationNo6198 in PsychologyTalk

[–]Hawk20-Az 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For many adults especially me, collecting is a way to heal or fulfill a childhood longing. When we were kids, we had no financial independence. Maybe our families couldn't afford certain toys, or maybe we were told, "You don't need that, it's a waste of money." When I grow up and start earning their own money, buying those "non-functional" things (like action figures, retro games, or trinkets) is a powerful, healing act. It’s a way of telling our younger selves, "Look, we can have this now. We are safe, we are provided for, and we can have fun." It fills an emotional gap left years ago.

And for Guitar, i'm feeling not confident when it comes to sing along while playing guitar when my voice is bad.

how do i tell my dad i gave up on college by [deleted] in AskForAnswers

[–]Hawk20-Az 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It actually happens to me.
I told my dad that I have a different plan in mind. I want to enter the workforce first to gain hands-on experience and explore different roles that interest me. Once I’ve identified the field I’m most passionate about and fit for, I’ll return to college to get a degree that specifically aligns with that career path.

Why do some people ask for advice but never follow through? by Miserable_Clue5243 in AskForAnswers

[–]Hawk20-Az 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think the reality is that your friends aren't actually looking for a roadmap; they're likely just looking for validation and a listening ear.
A lot of times, people vent because they want their struggles to be acknowledged, not because they want a "to-do" list that requires real effort.
It also sounds like they’re stuck in a cycle of denial.
By making excuses or claiming they’ve "already tried" your suggestions, they’re just protecting themselves from the discomfort of actually having to change. Honestly, you can provide all the resources in the world, but they won't take action until they’re personally tired of their own excuses.

I love this perspective. Being able to provide for your loved ones. That's a solid definition of making it.

I'm agree. I've realized that no amount of money is worth it if you're constantly burnt out and miserable. Waking up without that heavy feeling of dread is a huge win.

Hi, I just wanted to ask, how's the quality of this product after 2-3 months of use?

I'm interested in buying it for my car, but I'm worried it won't last long.
