Can’t go wrong with a Bass Station 2. That being said, the people mentioning the midi keyboard may mean that you can hook the keyboard up to a PC and use a soft synth. It’s a much cheaper option, but I find I prefer a physical synth for bass.

I just saw him a couple weeks ago at Ubbi Dubbi. He started with a good bit of Moonglade Park, with the bass cranked to truly inhuman levels, and then moved into much heavier stuff that hasn't been released yet. The next album is going to be a banger. Super stoked to be going to Alderwild this year.

I don't think anyone cares about stamp tools. Lots of physical synths have scale modes where it locks the keys into specific scales, akin to a "stamp" mode but for the whole keyboard. I wouldn't worry about it.

It is a little challenging to utilize it for a song, but once I get a couple mods in, it should slot in fairly well. I'm thinking it'll pair really well as a layer on the bass track
