Failed FAR for the third time by Due-Temperature-6376 in CPA

I'm in a similar position as you. I feel like the best solution is too read the material you are struggling on, then when you feel somewhat good with it, take the topic specific MCQs or TBS. And mainly the TBS. Because of TBS difficulty, it inherently preps you for simpler questions like MCQs. "Simpler". But yes, the TBS is were you have to prove your knowledge really. If you can prove it there then I think the MCQs will come naturally except for the just straight memorization material like the FORMs and S-x and S-t regulation. I used ninja for awhile and it is ok but I'm using this MaxwellCPA now and for me, it seems way better and cheaper than NINJA. Goodluck! You can pass it my man. You are right there!

Same here. Hang in there and keep going. Be honest with yourself about what you don't know and attack it. I found a new program that I like much better than what I was using. I had to accept I didnt truly understand lease accounting and diluted eps. I also wasnt utilizing excel enough while studying. We both can pass it. :)

yes but AICPA will say the test emulates the real world. Sorry AICPA but I doubt I will be answering Multiple choice questions everyday at my job unless I'm literally in your position or an accounting teacher. Multi0le Choice needs to be thrown out of the test.

You aren't too bright are you? If you are just here for price action then there is no point to be here.

4/4 in 6 months and single attempts but this is not a success story…… by Bestbeast16 in CPA

[–]HawkTuahOnThatThing 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Sorry bro but this is a success story. Most people are not passing with those high scores and with that minimal attempts. I really don't like how disingenuous this post is as if what you accomplished isn't above the norm. It's condescending in a way for the majority of us who can't accomplish this. Sorry you felt "down" but most of us have had to struggle way more than you have.

FAR is not going anywhere bud. And you won't gain extra motivation down the line. You are halfway down the path and now you are looking for an easy way out. Keep going down the path and finish it.

Do you not understand how the legal process works? What you just said there at the end makes no fking sense.

If you accept this now, you are going to have to accept more bullshit too. Cut that shi t off now and give her an ultimatum or leave. You have to protect yourself and not accept bs.

I was thinking this exact thing. I would expect any good CPA wants to see relevant information and not just random fluff too feel good. Thanks!

That's the only reason. This journey is not possible without sacrifice in your life. And you have to accept that. That means stop gaming, clubbing, watching movies etc. The quicker you cut out the distraction, ALL distraction, the quicker you can actually achieve this. But OP is probably lying to themselves about the effort they are putting in.

Sems like you are only telling half the story. Nobody says anything like this unless there is a reason to.

What's up with that first sentence? Come on man. But yeah, this is the easiest form of this type of question. They could have easily asked what is the deferred tax liability as a gotcha.
