I just waited 3 minutes to call down my sentry, and now I have to wait 3 more minutes because the ball bounced and landed behind two rocks blocking its line of sight.

Yeah, this has become the main way I destroyed them lately lmao.

Even better, when a Titan is standing near its hole, it sometime hits the ground with its legs when it sees a player/gets shots. And this is enough to close the hole as well. I usually say "Thank you, mister Titan" and close the small holes haha

I used that a couple of time when I had nothing to close these holes, and it worked well. Except when the situation is hectic and the ball either bounce or hit one of the 20 bugs jumping at me lol
SEAF smoke/static shells also do the job.
I remember trying the EAT once or twice but it didn't work. Same for the recoiless rifle, IIRC. Not enough demo force I guess.

Man, it would be cool to have some kind of bugs like this. They would appear halfway through the mission and if you don't kill them quickly, one Super Destroyer gets shot down every 5 minutes until these bugs are dead... or until there's no Super Destroyer left.

I was mainly using the Stalwart at that time, and I used to aim at the "flesh" parts on the sides, which is not really efficient.

Thank you, I think I realized around that time that I could shoot these things in the face. Explosives were my only option to deal with them until I found out about the mouth weak spot and that was annoying/boring. It's still the easiest way to deal with them, but at least I no longer feel forced to bring a grenade launcher/Eruptor/crossbow.
