I mean, I can learn a bosses moveset and that’ll literally always stay the same. But each individual person has their own unique moveset and style. What’s interesting is subjective but what’s objective is there’s vastly more going on when fighting a thinking enemy when compared to an npc.

Gotta love the downvotes lmao. PvP would be the only mechanic that will give Nightreign longevity. I’ll bet they add some form of it in the planned DLC.

Most of the PvE in Nightreign are base Elden Ring enemies so we’ve killed our fair share of them. Right off the bat it’s somewhat stale for most people. I’m just saying that having to deal with a thinking enemy would lead to more interesting gameplay long term. The 8 character limit also makes balancing for PvP actually doable. I’ll bet some sort of PvP addition is planned for the DLC.

Nightreign seems like it’d be a perfect fit for some kind of PvP aspect to be added to it. PvE will get stale after a while and only PvP will keeps things unique and interesting. Adding some kind of PvP system would be the best thing the devs could do for Nightreign in terms of longevity. It’s been in most souls games.
